When we travel to Vermont we don't make the inn a spending priority so instead we seek VALUE. Not something easy to find in Stowe at any time of year. The Riverside gives us that in spades. Plenty of space, clean with a fridge and a pair of innkeepers that are top of the heap! We have stayed at the Riverside...

Stayed one night in May. We were very desperate to find a place as we arrived in Stowe early evening on a Saturday and vacancies were limited. A lovely lady from another B&B told us about this place as it belonged to her friend. The person who looked after us was very nice but save your 80 bucks and go...

A big group of us (nearly 50 in all) rented the entire place. I must say that rhe rooms were small and not all of them had their own bathroom. The furniture and kitchen appliances were old. But the Riverside Inn worked wonderfully well for our group. The adults could move about freely and not worry about spilling their beer....

Better places than this! Soooo smelly, muddy outside & outdated furniture. Old duvets & carpets.Needs some dollars invested in it desperately! Go elsewhere. Pleasant owners though.

This is a low end budget hotel so if your priorities are skiing and spending time with friends instead of sleeping, the Riverside is the place for you. Bed was OK and fortunately I had a room with a private bath. The room was tiny with no place for a suitcase but on the floor and I had to move...

I stayed here in September whilst I was travelling through with a group on a Trek America trip. I can't remember their names but the couple who own the house are very helpful and welcoming. We were a relatively large group but felt totally welcome and had a great time. There are plenty of rooms with a variety of room...

My husband and I found this property while searching for pet-friendly accomodations so we could bring our pug on vacation. The rooms that allow pets are in the motel that is situated right behind the Inn. The innkeepers were very friendly and had our room ready a bit early so we were able to check in when we arrived in...

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights on a very rainy weekend. The accommodations met our expectations. We stayed in the motel and the room was large (2 queens and a single) with a private bath. The other room we used was inside the Innn. It had an exterior entrance and was quite nice with twin beds and private...

This summer was the second time we stayed at this Inn. We have stayed there over for a winter vacation and would very like to come back. This place has a great atmosphere and the best innkeepers we ever have meet! They really make our stay a succes. They don´t pretend to be a fancy place and for the money...

i stayed here in aug 2011 as part of a trek america tour, if you want luxury then this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for somewhere clean and friendly to stay then this is the place, the owners were very friendly and helpful. We had free use of bikes, a pool table in the...
