We have stayed here before. Very friendly staff. The facilities are a little outdated but clean. (conventional keys, older furniture, thin walls etc.) There is a cool bridge that crosses over the indoor pool to get to the rooms. All in all, it's a good value.

Very close to ski slopes, plus directly across from shuttle stop, if needed. Delicious and nicely presented breakfast included with room. Rooms were very clean. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub area. Friendly staff. Would have been nice if back stairs had been kept better

Great B&B, within a short drive to the Stowe mountain. Family friendly staff provided very good tips of where to go in the area. They serve a very good breakfast. Choc-chip scone was our family favorite.

Just spent 3 nights at the Northern Lights with my daughter and had a wonderful time. Slopes were freezing cold (high of 10 on our last day), but the room was toasty and clean and the hot shower was steamy and fabulous. Loved the hot tub and pool - very relaxing after a day on

You can't get much closer to Stowe than this without spending a lot more. The rooms are not fancy, but tidy, and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. Included breakfast was decent by ski hotel standards. Layout is pretty sprawling; try to get a room in

Is the lack of air conditioning an issue in early September in Stowe?
I’m not sure about other rooms but the room I had at Northern Lights had an AC unit.

Is the lack of air conditioning an issue in early September in Stowe?
Hi Barbara, The only rooms without air conditioning are the value/economy rooms. Typically in early September the high temp is in the mid 70's and the low temps are in the 50's, so the lack of air conditioning in those rooms is rarely an issue. That being said, there is always a chance of an unexpected late summer heatwave. Have a great evening, Mike and Shannon Innkeepers

how far from the mountain are you?
Hi Cyndi, Sorry for the delay in responding. We are about a 5 minute drive from the Stowe Mountain Resort. During holiday weeks like Christmas or President's weekend, their can sometime be a bit of traffic getting into the ski resort parking lot and it can take a bit longer, although this is thankfully a rare occurrence. Have a great day, Mike and Shannon Innkeepers
