This is a perfect stop for an overnight. It was easy to get to, quiet and had all the amenities. Each cabin has a front porch, great for sitting out and enjoying the fresh air with coffee. The bed was very comfortable. The entire cabin was spotlessly clean inside and OUT. There are picnic tables and grills behind the cabins.... More

We stayed here after a long road trip. Janelle was so kind and welcoming. She gave us lots of information for places to visit, eating places, foods. Went above and beyond. The place is very clean and our rooms were tidied and cleaned daily. We had 2 adjoining rooms which made travelling as a family convenient. So dog friendly too... More

Very clean, comfortable and down-right relaxing. We stayed in cottage 8, and everything was great, even the natural soap & shampoo. Janelle was above and beyond hospitable and very helpful, advice on where to eat and how far things are just for example. I would definitely stay there again, thank you for our great first night in Vermont.

We were lucky to get a cabin late in the day, and it was charming! Spotlessly clean, just the right size, and we had a wonderful nights sleep. Would be happy to stay again and stay longer. Owners were friendly and helpful, very nice family.

The reason my family and I keep coming back to the Serenity Motel is the beautiful , quiet surroundings, wonderful hospitality of Janelle and Mike, and the cleanliness of the cottages. We love reading on the porch, listening to the roosters, and watching the chickens cluck their way around the grounds. Janelle and Mike always help recommend places to eat,... More

STAY HERE! Extremely Clean, beautifully maintained, cozy, vintage cottages. Bathrooms recently upgraded. Excellent rates. Owners live on the premises -- friendly, genuine people. Loved hearing the rooster crow in the morning. Bag the superhighway exit chain lodgings and stay here!

I recently spent 8 nights at the Serenity Motel; it is a very pleasant and well-maintained property in a lovely part of southern Vermont. My room was comfortable and extremely clean; everything (TV, air-conditioner, microwave, mini-refrigerator) worked well. The shower had excellent water pressure. If you want to avoid typical motel chain accommodations, the Serenity Motel is ideal.

We stayed here 2 nights, accomodations were comfortable and met our needs. Easy to visit Bennington and Manchester from location. Beds were comfortable, bathroom small but adequate and fridge and microwave available for us to make breakfast. Picnic table and BBQ available.

When you see this place its not your typical motel. It is a quante section of cottages. They cozy and fairly quiet. Equipped with a fridge and microwave even comes with a love seat. The owners Janelle and her husband are great. Janelle has a great personality and is a very good owner. She will make you feel that your... More
