Our family was out for Turkey day and one evening we found ourselves here for some drinks and dessert. I was the designated driver and enjoyed just some chocolate moose but it was a lively place and we stayed so long I had to have an irish coffee too.

This place is absolutely precious! 7, upstairs, rooms share 2 bathrooms (both have showers-no tub). It was clean, comfortable (if you like firm mattresses), and superbly priced. Charming decor and on top of that, you could see the mountains with the leaves changing... The inn is currently for sale. Offered are the above referenced 7 rooms, 2 baths, 4 apartments...

The Readsboro Inn is located in a former logging town which has probably seen better days(When I heard wheels screeching outside in the early morning, I hoped my car hadn't been stolen). Clean but No TV, phone, wi-fi and a shared washroom. The bedroom light was turned off by unscewing the bulb. The pillows were uncomfortable and the only fire...

Marcia was a GREAT host! First of all, we booked very last minute via AirBnB (the day before we arrived) and she was very quick to respond...greatly appreciated in a last-minute situation. She welcomed us (despite being busy in the restaurant when we arrived) and showed us where our room was as well as the shared amenities. She was also...

My stay here was rather interesting and exceeded my expectations. The owner was friendly. I stayed here 5 nights and chose it due to the location and reasonable price. I found my room to be clean, but bedding nothing fancy. I was happy that Wifi was available since cell service in many parts of Vermont are limited or not available....

My whole family - brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces and a friend - was able to sleep all in one amazing place on the occasion of my son's wedding. We were all snug together (14) on one floor, in 7 rooms, in 10 beds under the roof of one fun Inn. Marcia and her staff (especially Casey) made us feel like...

We came upon this place on our way through southern Vermont, and were happy to find their menu could easily accommodate vegetarians. We stayed for drinks after sunset and decided to spend the night. Our room was quiet and cozy. The place truly felt like a retreat!

My stay was in Aug '13. My room was very small, but clean and nicely decorated. I was told that there was no cell service there, but at $65 a night- I thought it was reasonable. I was a little taken aback by the shared bathrooms. I was more surprised to learn that there were no phones in the rooms...

We didn't stay at the Inn but had a beer and appetizer on the outside deck. If you are doing the Deerfield River or are just in the area you must stop in. Great beer selection and appetizers big enough to feed two. Dog friendly with WiFi. Easy on the wallet as well. Stop in... you'll love it.
