A group of 20 friends booked this house for our annual ski weekend in Vermont this year and it was perfect. The house is was comfortable and clean. It easily accommodated our large group with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as large kitchen, dining and living areas. It was family friendly and sound-proof so that the babies sleeping...

I stayed twice in this cozy, lovely place near Plymouth, VT. Tesha the owner takes care of every detail and makes you feel at home. Just a short drive from Woodstock is convenient on your time off to go for a bite or do a little shopping. All the surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful...

Here for a yoga retreat and can't say enough about how Tesha made what was already a wonderful weekend into something sublime. Gourmet, healthful food in a comfortable home-style accommodation with a backyard hot tub, firepit and plenty of seating. The yoga room was bright, airy and clean. The kitchen was open to guest and the food was delicious. A...

I had the amazing opportunity to join a yoga and spirituality retreat hosted by one of my mentors here at Good Commons. This beautiful house is full of wonderfully centering energy, and it is absolutely "choka-block full" of all you could need during your stay! We were a group of 7, and everyone was absolutely RAVING about the location throughout...

I went up to Good Commons for a yoga retreat this past weekend and it was so lovely! The drive with the fall tree colors and the winding river on our way was just awesome. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner Tesha and there was warm apple cider and gluten free/vegan mini donuts ready to be had. The...

I've now lead two yoga retreats at Good Commons and have booked a third! For a retreat facilitator, Tesha and Mary are a dream. They are incredibly communicative and helpful to keep logistics running smoothly. They're also hugely connected-- they can pair you with a top chef, arrange to have a massage therapist on site, facilitate transportation with the Good...

I kidnapped my girlfriend to a weekends getaway in the mountains of Vermont and we had such a great time in the quiet town of Plymouth that we extended our say for another night or two... Having been long friends with the founder and just needing the time to make the trip happen it could not have been a better...

Before I start to ramble, first let me say: COME HERE. No, really, GO to GOOD COMMONS! You won't regret it. This is a place where you truly feel like you're going to a better version of home. Door to door service- every meal, snack and craving you could desire if satiated by the chefs, the mixologist and of course...

We felt like family the minute we stepped in the door of Good Commons. Our Labor Day weekend was one of the most memorable we've ever experienced. A great cozy location, plenty of excursions to keep us busy and the food prepared by Chefs April and Matthew were incredible. We hope to be back for other weekends.

Like other reviewers, I have to say that stepping off of the Good Bus and into the clean, cozy, comfortable space that is Good Commons was more like being welcomed by an old friend instead of arriving at a B&B or hotel. I attended their Gluten Free Gourmet Getaway weekend, and the care with which the food was prepared --...

“Go ahead, take the queen bed!”
BMG68, 9 Apr 2013 | Read review
“the Loft is an option for those who want to save some money -- you share this space with other travelers a la summer camp (multiple beds in one space). Otherwise, all rooms are charmingly furnished with antiques and lovely, soft quilts. The bedrooms in the front of the house do get some traffic noise from the occassional tractor that passes on the road in the early mornings.”

“If you need your restroom request a room that has one or near one. Bedroom 1 is next to living room loft if your a heavy sleeper your ok but bring ear plugs if not.”
