My husband and I adored our all too brief overnight stay at Phinneus Swann after skiing at Jay Peak. The website is great, but cannot do it full justice. The innkeepers are very welcoming-going out of their way to make you feel welcome and totally at home in their beautifully appointed home. Any canine lover is going to feel like...

We traded in our annual Colorado ski trip for a week at our favorite mountain in Vermont and found our new found favorite resting place at Phineas Swann. Our five night stay (we extended one night---did not want to leave) was just perfect for our family of four. The entire staff was incredibly helpful. A big shout out to Jay's/John's...

We spent the weekend up here intended to go snowboarding at Jay Peak. The weather turned out to be rainy and miserable but we didn't have a single complain about our stay when we came back. Unlike most b&b's, motels, and hotels, where you're there to rest after seeing your destination, Phineas Swann is more like a resort, where it...

We do not have a pet, but love dogs and were charmed by those of the owners. We stayed in the green room, in a high 4-poster bed, but with a totally modern shower--so it was the best of both old and new worlds. The unlimited extras--fresh baked brownies, a world-class selection of teas, wine and coffee drinks--made it wonderful...

Anyone looking for a unique vacation experience, well look no further. This bed/breakfast has it all. Comfortable space, hot tub (great after a long day of skiing at Jay), entertainment in the form of music and antiques, great spread of snacks, coffees, teas and the best french toast you can imagine. Felt welcomed the minute we met John, the Inn's...

My husband and I stayed at the Phineas Swann Bed and Breakfast for a weekend this winter. The focus of our trip was skiing - but the inn stole the show! We had a delightful stay in the lovely "River House Suite" and enjoyed several delicious meals (two breakfasts and one dinner). We definitely plan to return. Thanks John and...

We always stay at the Phineas when skiing at Jay Peak-our absolute favourite inn. Owners Jay and John take excellent care of their guests with attention to every detail. Breakfasts are always hearty and delicious. Enjoy treats by the roaring fire in the cozy living room as well as an endless selection of hot and cold drinks. The friendly and...
