This was our second stay at the location and we had a great time. As with our first trip, Eamon and Shawna were great hosts, the Adobe Cottage was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the hot tub and a treak through the woods (right out the backdoor). We'll be back again soon.

We just returned from a stay at Sheady Acres' Irish Farmhouse Cottage with our 2 young children and tiny dog- we had the best time! Eamon and Shawna are awsome- so helpful and friendly. The cabins are gorgeous- meticulously crafted, decorated, and maintained. The location is perfect- close to Jay Peak and also to town. It really was one of...

We spent a lovely week with our dogs at the Adobe cottage. The place is perfect home-base for Jay Peak ski area just a few miles up the road. The interior is beautifully designed and crafted, and has a warm and cosy feel to it. The hosts, Shawna and Eamon, were very helpful and friendly, our car got stuck in...

My friend and I and her dog stayed in the Caribe cabin, Jan 12th. All of the cabins are beautifully built and the Caribe house was decorated very well. The cabin is warm and cozy. You can tell a lot of hard work went into this place! I wish we could have stayed longer, the owners pack down trails all...

My partner and I stayed in the Teahouse at Sheady Acres for a weekend of skiing at Jay Peak. We couldn't have been happier with the room! It was beautifully built and furnished, and just the right size for two people. The rooms are 5 minutes drive from Jay Peak, so getting out to ski in the morning was easy,...

My family and I were lucky enough to stumble upon this place because the hotel we initially booked couldn't accommodate us for the time we needed. Funny, I was annoyed at having to switch lodging in the middle of our trip. The reward- finding he most welcoming, charming, clean, picturesque... home away from home. My family and I had a...

My husband and I (and our dog) stayed in the Caribe cabin the weekend before Christmas for a little pre-holiday relaxation. The property was large enough to wander around with the dog and the cabin was cozy and warm in spite of the snow storm we endured. Most importantly, it was blissfully quiet to just lay around and de-stress. Several...

When our dog sitter canceled we were in a panic needing to find a place to stay near Jay Peak for Columbus Day weekend that allows dogs and we happened upon the website for Sheady Acres. We were very lucky that they had a vacancy and after booking our stay in the Caribe cottage and looking through the website we...

So, we're at a Phish show and a friend recommends this place.... Booked... sight unseen, (web site or otherwise)... we took 3 cabins at an amazingly fair price, felt just like we had our own family retreat in Jay. This place is fun just to look at! And then it sinks in and you realize how much someone cared, loved,...

Spent a weekend in September here. The location is great. Just a few miles from town and a few miles from Jay Peak ski area. Very quite. Surrounded by trees in full fall color. Nearby access to the Long Trail (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Trail) Our cabin was charming. A carpenter staying in the neighboring cabin came by to look at the construction of...
