My husband and I were traveling thru Vermont to Maine. We were tired so we booked a room at The Greystone motel. Never again would I stay at this place I was bitten several times by bed bugs. When I woke up the next morning my leg had several bites. I had never been bitten by bed bugs before so... More

I stayed here while travelling by bicycle. This property does not allow bicycles in the room but allows storage in a garage on the property. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. Two small nits. Sleeping with the window open allows in road noise -- I bet there wasn't much traffic when... More

The room we had was a nice size and it had been remodeled with a nice new shower. The room was very clean but some of the furniture was falling apart. The bed was comfortable and pillows were OK. The breakfast wasn't much just cereals and some toast but was enough to get started in the morning. We had a... More

From the outside it's just another roadside motel. But given the price and its distance (only 1.5 miles) from Middlebury center, it was a great find. On the inside everything was fresh, clean and updated, including carpet, and a bathroom as nice as any four star motel. Continental breakfast was not impressive, but I don't need much anyway.

Big, clean room, comfortable bed, new bathroom and especially updated sliding-glass shower with nice, scalding-hot water, new TV with clear reception and many channels, fridge, lots of heat, friendly front desk worker/owner, quiet and safe and close to everything in Middlebury. The only drawback is the low waterflow. I could live with the shower (low but useable), but the sink... More

This is an average hotel with old style of rooms and management. The hotel/motel is located near a highway, thus affected the sleeping quality. An ideal location when you do have limited options. A lovely area by the way with a renowned campus.

(Read my review understanding that I have traveled a lot, and owned a multiple diamond destination resort. The operation is old, the people who run the place are trying to do their best. I would not hesitate to stay here again, although I would prefer to stay at the Marriott or the Middlebury Inn. ) That stated, arrived at 1:35... More

We arrived late and left early, so we didn't spend much time there. The woman that checked us in was very friendly. The room is a decent size, a little outdated but it had a small refrigerator and the bathroom was updated. We would stay there again.

This area of Vermont has few budget choices in terms of traveler's stays. The Greystone Motel is THE exception with rates under $100 for a night's stay. Now, with this reduced price is the reduced size of the room - I mean TINY, like budget NYC tiny. If you're looking for luxury, read no further. If, however, you want to... More

I stayed here with my wife for a weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. There were no bed bugs; there was a bag over the mattress to protect from them as well. I recommend calling to make your reservation as the rate was better than what we found online. The bathroom seemed recently renovated and was quite nice. Only... More
