I don't normally leave remarks about places I've stayed (good or bad) but my experience here was very spooky so I wanted to pass it along. My wife and I stayed in room 216 and while we were in bed watching TV that night we both saw the bedspread on the other bed move up a couple inches and form...

We loved our stay here! We had a wonderful foliage stay there this year. We were worried after Hurricane Irene but saw little damage that wasn't already fixed and this place was totally unaffected. The innkeeper and staff are so nice and gave us lots of tips on foliage drives, where to eat and what to do locally. Only a...

We stayed at this hotel last week and are regular guests who stay here whenever we hike, bike, and ski in Vermont. We've noticed that they have made some upgrades to the property. The rooms with queen beds have updated baths with new vanities, fixtures and tile. New bedspreads and refrigerators were apparent in our room as well. We were...

Our recent stay was ok. Location is wonderful, lots of potential. Facillities were below average, they are in drastic need of a new face lift. Beds were creeky, along with the floors upstairs and down. Breakfast was average, consisting of toast, muffins and rolls. On the plus side front desk personnel were very friendly which made check in and check...

I read through the recent reviews and decided to give it a try. The rate was cheap and there was alot to do in the Rutland area. My husband and I booked one night. The location is easy to find and in a quiet area. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy and the front desk personnel were very friendly....

This Econo Lodge is 4 miles from downtown Rutland. If you are looking for a good safe and clean stay, that is reasonably priced, I'd recommend the Econo Lodge over hotels in a similar class in Rutland. I noticed this Econo Lodge was priced higher than the Rodeways in town, and was further away, so initially I overlooked this. I...

Seen better days. Beds were fine, but we thought the person(s) creaking above us would crash through the floor. Hotel construction is fair at best. Service was friendly and accommodating, and the price was reasonable. Pool not well heated, nor was the hot tub warm. Overall, we would not rush back here.

Not bad for the price, when compared to Rutland Vt. On the highway, easy to find. Very comfortable and clean. I would stay there again.

Pros: Welcome bag upon checking in. Cons: 1) Room smelled 2) AC was mounted at a severe angle it looked liked it was falling out of the window. The foam insulation and hand towels that they used to seal between the window frame and the AC, had gaps to the outside which allowed the months to come into the room...

This hotel is very nice for an Econo Lodge. The rooms are nice and big. Gameroom downstairs came in handy as it was rainy and the pool was closed for maintenance. The breakfast was not spectacular, but completely adequate. The staff was very friendly also. I would stay again and recomend to friend.
