The reluctant panther came highly praised by some co workers and i wasn't disappointed. The town of Manchester itself is really an awesome place so it's necessary you find an equally awesome place to stay. I highly advise anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay with wonderful rooms, food and staff come to the reluctant panther. Such a nice...

The Reluctant Panther is classic, old-school Vermont! Cozy, quaint, and charming! Rooms are spacious and country chic. We were upgraded to Library Suite - very nice! All rooms recently renovated - super clean and fresh! Breakfast is delicious and made to order. All staff super nice! Highly recommend this Inn.... It's close to skiing and Manchester shopping too....

My wife and I have been very fortunate to have stayed in many wonderful places throughout the world. The Reluctant Panther Inn now is part of our list of 5 Star places. The ambiance is elegant but not pretentious. The rooms comfortable, spacious and beautifully furnished. Most important: The staff was VERY attentive, gracious and friendly. Every moment we were...

Dear kennuncorked, First and foremost, allow us to congratulate you once again on the beautiful marriage of your daughter and son-in-law. Not rain, nor wind, nor snow (in this case, snow!) would deter them from the big day and they were lovingly surrounded by wonderful family. We were honored to be a part of this special occasion and thank you...

From the manager to the servers at dinner, the service was fantastic. We stayed in one of the adjasent cabin rooms and the inn felt small and intimate even fully booked. Food and wine list were excellent in the restaurant. This is the fourth and easily the best inn I have stayed with in Manchester

Every year my wife take off a few days from our kids and farm to go to Manchester. Last year we stayed at the Equinox and this year the Reluctant Panther. They both are great choices. The difference is large hotel with all of the amenities vs boutique hotel where you feel as if it's your own place. The room-...

Especially large and comfortable rooms (with sitting area, gas fireplaces, whirlpool tubs) a setting that was quiet but very close to the main shopping and dining Manchester downtown area. Breakfasts were very good. Bed was wonderfully comfortable, roomy bathroom was a treat, especially the great shower. Good (free) wifi. Easy parking. Staff was also exceptional - all of them. And...

My wife and I stayed in this Inn Jan 20 2017. What a gem, not to be missed! The main building was rebuilt in 2005, to modern standards, yet it retains the charm of an old Inn. It is well appointed and spotless. Our room was in the main building and it was great. We especially appreciated the gas fireplace....

Great room, friendly staff. Two slight negatives; how does the restaurant run out of pancake badder on a holiday weekend? Also, probably from lack of use , tub jets had a distinct odor. Bed was great, near the village, and quiet location.

Dear Rich W, Thank you for your visit and constructive review. You are correct: we should have ample pancake batter on hand, especially when we have a full house.
