We got this room for a very reasonable rate for one night in August. The lodge is Swiss looking, and is basically attractive, but construction seems low-budget. A new set of windows all over would make this facility shine much more brightly! The desk manager was polite and nice enough, but he says he is really only accessible by phone...

My apologies for the condition of the room we provided you. There are no excuses. I thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Luckily we were able to make the necessary repairs prior to the arrival of the next guest. While we are certainly not perfect, we strive to provide a much better product than what you...

We came here because our camping trip was rained out. Vince, the general manager, set us up in a wonderful and clean room. Excellent value, complementary muffins and coffee, and our dog was welcomed at no extra cost. Highly recommend! The room was very spacious with a set of bunk beds in the second bedroom.

We have now stayed at Upper Pass a number of times, both in and out of ski season. We love the proximity to not only Magic Mountain (a few steps away) but to all the areas we like to visit while in Vermont. Its staff, especially Manager Vince, are consistently warm & welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Back...

This place is so comfortable and relaxing. Being dog friendly, is a plus in my mind. The lounge area is so comfortable you have to be careful not to fall asleep, although I doubt anyone would care if you did. Vince is so helpful, very knowledgeable of the area. Plan on coming back with husband to celebrate our anniversary.

Stayed here with my fiance. The check-in was a bit slow because we could not find anyone at the front desk (we were there in the off season). The room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice place to get drinks downstairs. A good hotel overall and right at the bottom of a ski area.

Found this Lodge and hotel after skiing Magic Mountain which is literally across the street and fell in love. The Lodge has such a cozy New England feel to it and a great restaurant called the Red Slate. It's menu is very small w/o too many options but all of the food was delicious. The lobby area is so incredibly...

This is a simple hotel with a big heart and true love for welcoming families and their pets. My husband, 3 kids (of 4 as one was away on vacation) and big dog (a French mastiff... so yeah, big) felt very welcome from the moment we opened the door. There was a large water bowl for pets, and a smile...

We were skiing at Stratton and wanted a cheap place to stay nearby - a groupon popped up for Upper Pass Lodge and was the most affordable option.
