We purchased a mid-week ski and stay package through Killington Ski Resort and found The Mountain Inn to be very good. We drove up on Monday and skiied prior to checking in arriving at the Inn around 4 pm. At check-in we were upgraded to a balcony (deck) room facing the mountain with a gas fireplace (nice surprise). The room...

Yes the rooms are dated, but are clean and functional. The breakfast was better than I expected. Location is definitely the best feature of the mtn inn. Can easily walk to snow shed with snowboard boots, bout 5 minutes, would not suggest walking with ski boots. Outdoor pool was nice. The one big complaint I have is the lack of...

Drove from Boston and arrived about noon but we were allowed to check in early, no problem at all. Stayed here for three nights in winter and EVERY SINGLE TIME we saw staff from the hotel, they smiled and greeted us. They were very helpful, our room was spacious with an auto fireplace, and breakfast every morning was brilliant (waffles,...

Let's start by saying that Killington is a huge College town, with NO decent lodging or food. Don't expect luxury anywhere in Killington!!!!!! This is my 5th or 6th stay @ this specific hotel. My first one was back in 2002. NOTHING CHANGED. I don't believe in the 9 years since they put a penny in renovation into this place....

We had a short ski-vacation in Killington in December 2011. Our stay in the Mountain Inn was pleasant overall and met our expectations. We arrived early to drop our luggage and go off skiing. The receptionist was very friendly and we had the luck that our room was already ready for us (9 am). The room was clean and the...

polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast, room: basin for "en suite" bathroom had escaped to the bedroom; all for $260 per night plus tax. Are you serious??? However, really good guy at reception.

This is our second trip to vermont and we decided to stay again at Mountain Inn. The location is close to ski mountains and they provide free transportation. The staff at hotel were all nice and helped us with everything we needed to enjoy our 3 day stay. The rooms are spacious and they have beautiful balcony which opens to...

This was a first time skiing in Killington after years and we choose to go during the beginning of the year to get ourselves within the grove. Also, it was our first time staying at Mountain Inn and it was a great experience. We had a nice clean room with great killington view from our balcony every morning. The stay...

Positive: It was clean, reasonably decent shape, controllable hear, great location. Negative: Unfortunately that's all I can really say positive. The hotel is dated, but that's not what a ski vacation is about anyway, so I didn't care. When I opened the room though, there was a powerful cleaner smell; we learned later this was probably all over the bedding,...

This review is long overview. We stayed in mid March this year. The hotel itself is a little rustic. The location is great. We walked to the lift... it was a little far especially considering we just received 15" of fresh pow, but certainly doable. The rooms were pretty normal, not fancy and new like a big chain hotel, but...
