Bottom line; lodging is limited in Jay. If you want to stay on the mountain, you're going to pay some of the highest premium rates in New England. You don;t have options like in Stowe, Killington and a myriad of other mountains in VT. The Jay Village Inn is basic, but it's a gem of a find for those of...

The Inn is quaint and close to the mountain just 3 miles to the entrance. The restaurant I ate dinner at all three nights was great with nice variety, great food and conveniently located directly in the inn. I also ate breakfast there in the morning. Parking was easy right outside and my room was great. It was my first...

Me and a few friends came down to Jay Peak for a couple days of skiing. Since we're all broke college kids, we found the cheapest hotel and booked it. This hotel may be inexpensive, but I could not believe how nice it was. The rooms are wonderfully furnished, the whole hotel has a very homey, cozy atmosphere, the staff...

If you're actually going to Jay to ski, this is perfect for what you need. They have all the essentials. The rooms are clean and laid out well. The food is tasty, hearty and you get your money's worth in weight. There's a great selection of drinks and the staff are extremely attentive and friendly.

i haven't stayed at the Inn but I do eat there every time I come to Jay Peak. The hosts, the service, the drinks and the food are excellent. This is the best place to eat in the Northeast Kingdom. I have never been disappointed. Everything from the lower priced wings to the $36 entrees are very good. You can...

My wife and I stayed here for a week in June to attend Parade at Jay Peak Resort. So glad the Resort was booked and we came here. The room was fairly basic but after full days it was great to come back to JVI, pool, cold beer, great food (monstrous portions)& conversation and staff that seemed like we had...

Wonderful place to stay, great warm people around. Rooms are clean, properly maintained. Bar is open till midnight. Breakfast is too good. A must have. This was my second visit here in last 2 years and again loved it.

Sorry, I have traveled around the world and I must say this was one of the most unsatisfactory stays I had by far. Sadly, its not specifically the room we stayed in,. It was the unprofessional ism of some of the staff exhibited that made it an unsatisfactory experience. The room smelled like sulfur and we raised our concerns to...

I was doing some hiking in Vermont's "Northeast Kingdom" and just needed a place to stay overnight. I got a great discount through using TripAdvisor. The room I stayed in was on the 3rd floor and had a comfortable full bed and clean private bathroom (also had a television, refrigerator and clock radio). There is an outdoor pool and indoor...

Ate at the Jay Village Inn on a warm August evening . While there was nothing specific I could put my finger on to find fault with the experience left me a bit underwhelmed. While the food was good it seemed a bit pricey, while the service was good they seemed to be annoyed having to walk outside to our...
