We came for two nights and took a leap of faith on a Groupon. We are glad we did it was relaxing. We ate all our means on the property except for a day trip to Burlington to explore. All the food on premises is excellent and staff very nice and helpful. The room was good but not to fancy...

The rooms are great, and room service is good, but stay clear of the restaurants unless you enjoy the rudeness of the wait staff. Service was slow and they act like they are doing you a favor. On top of this they slap an 18% gratuity on the bill. It use to be you earned your tip by the level...

We visited the Essex in mid February and absolutely loved it!! I previously visited in April 2016 with a group of friends and returned this past month with my daughters and other family members. This time we were a group of 7 and had a wonderful relaxing weekend at the Essex Resort. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and very clean....

Thank you for returning to The Essex B M. We were so honored to welcome you back. I am sure with the winter weather this year, the Relaxation Room in the Spa was a great place to warm up by the fire. Hopefully, Mother Nature gave you some bluebird skies to look at while you relaxed. We really appreciate your...

This is our second visit to the Essex. Due to the weather, my plan to the Caribbean was cancelled. So inorder to recoup my vacation, I decided to go to the Essex since it was relatively close to home, and I knew my kids would enjoy the pool. This time we were staying at the Mansion which is located next...

We enjoyed two nights in this amazing place after receiving a Groupon from a friend. The room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. We ate at the Tavern and had delicious dinner and breakfast (highly recommend the french toast and mac and cheese). We also took one of the cooking classes which was very fun and met some great...

We chanced upon staying here thanks to a Groupon Boston alert and offer. We could stay for just two nights but it would be great for a longer stay too. The room we had was well furnished and well-equipped. Quiet, comfortable--if not a bit too warm for folks who live in cooler rooms at home--but very accommodating. We used the...

Great weekend escape for anyone who enjoys food, cooking, relaxing. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The Tavern was excellent on food quality, service, drinks, and selections. One of the most elegant burgers I have ever eaten. Highly recommend the Vermont mule, an excellent drink choice. The Spa was relaxing and soothing. One of the best yoga classes...

My boyfriend and I live 20 mins down the road and wanted a short and fun get away. The only positive part of the stay was the outdoor hot tub.
