We came to Vermont on a spur of the moment trip to watch our daughter ride at the horse festival and did not book a hotel in advance because we weren't sure we could make it. We called the Dorset Inn and was immediately greeted by Lauren ( the owner) who said she had just the room for us. Within...

I have stayed at multiple properties by the same owners. I have found the staff to be extremely accommodating. The Dorset Inn is very charming with beautiful gardens. The town itself is SO adorable. Across the street there is a general store that you could find your VT souvenirs and whatever you need. The bartender was so gracious and accommodating....

The Dorset Inn provided the warm atmosphere for the recent Vermont Humanities Council Talk lead by Peter Gilbert. We had a wonderful discussion of some "Spring" poems by Robert Frost. The living room was wonderful, we had some delicious snacks and Cathy and Nonni were extraordinarily attentive hostesses! Thank you! -Thea Kelly President of the Board of Trustees, Dorset Village...

We can not rave enough about this little Inn! Service is spectacular, the rooms immaculate and the food is superb. With the addition of Barrows House just up the way you have lots of options for dining (try both - Amy at the bar at Barrows is a lovely lady). The breakfast is indulgent so you'll need to walk it...

We snuck away for a wine pairing dinner & a night @ the Inn. We live only 30 min. away and maintain an extremely busy schedule so we had hopes for a nice night away. Our hopes were greatly exceeded and we felt totally removed from the daily grind. The meals, the staff & the accomodations couldn't have been nicer!...

My mom and I went to Dorset Inn to take a little time off. It could not have been more perfect. They surprised us with an upgrade to a suite. The room was beautiful, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful. I enjoyed spending the day downstairs in the main living room, by a huge fireplace... The ladies made...
