This little gem is cozy, and inviting. Staff were pleasant, and greeted us with smiles as we entered. You can hang your coat up prior to being seated. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar first, my friend and I had cosmopolitans which was perfectly made! We were seated shortly for din

We came to the Inn for our Anniversary. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we entered the Inn and was greeting by Aimee, gave us a tour of the Inn, which is very cozy, then took us to our suite for another tour. The accommodations were super a touch of old and new.

The Dorset Inn was a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary and enjoy late fall colors. We did not know the Inn or the town of Dorset, but a recent write up in the Boston Globe was very complimentary of a place "off the beaten path." Our Saturday night dinner was delicious

Stayed one night while enjoying New Hampshire's and Vermont's fall colors.

Cosy room in oldest continuously operating inn in Vermont. Opened windows to cool room and got lots of noise from air conditioning units cooling kitchen. It finally stopped after restaurant closed.

Hi JohnfromMarietta, Thank you for your feedback. We had some issues with heat while you were here. With the sporadic temperatures, (65 degrees during the day and freezing the next!) we had a little difficulty keeping up. The owners and maintenance team have spent time looking into our heating and investments have been made. We certainly want everyone to be as close to perfectly comfortable as we can! If you are to come again, we will definitely spend some time with you on the phone to get you a room that is as quiet as you need it to be.

Hi Pinky: With your Marine Engineerning background, what ever possessed you to go to become the Owner/Host of a B&B Inn? Wish I could get up there sometime to see you again but it's a long haul from SW Florida! Your old Pal, Rick Keimig (239-540-3870
It says there is a pool. Is there a hot tub open in the winter?
We have an outdoor pool for use in the summer months at our sister Inn, Barrows House. We do not have a hot tub, but we do have deluxe fireplace suites with jacuzzi air tubs.
