sculling camp with friends is the way to go. My first time out and they were so helpful with teaching, reviewing, and helping all of us learn to scull. Best food ever and a very friendly staff!! this is a small slice of heaven!

I absolutely love this place. I went solo for sculling coaching and spent the week hanging out with a great group of fellow "campers", one of whom is now one of my best friends. The atmosphere is great, the water is fantastic and SOOO CLEAN. The air smells soooo clean as well. I thought the food was ok and not... More

We come here every year for a four night ski vacation. This was my third year, however, my in-laws and wife have been coming for nearly 15 years. While the winter in New England this year has been dismal, it was still fun to spend a few days here. Our first two days there was approximately 20km of skiing open... More

Great food. Dining hall style allows intermingling with other guests and some of the athletes that live there. Great skiing and Nordic trails. Nice but not fancy rooms. Great attitude from all the staff. I want to go back!

The hiking is superb, canoeing, mountain biking, kayaking, just enjoying the scenery. The food is delicious, plentiful, and innovative. The staff is first rate. This is a camp atmosphere and it is restful and fun. Lots to see and do in the area.

I started coming to Craftsbury almost 10 years ago; came again to scull with my husband this trip, and we plan another (full week) in September '15. It's camp. It's way up in the Northern Kingdom of Vermont, and it's beautiful. And off the grid. So don't try to do any business meetings during your camp stay. The food is... More

We attended here from the UK so we could attend a sculling course. The coaching staff were excellent and supportive. We learnt so much with a personal touch. The food is very good as other contributors have said. We stayed in one of the cabins, a little rustic but no problems. The location is amazing. Wifi available throughout.

The staff is amazing, the food is amazing, the campers that gravitate towards Craftsbury are amazing. My daughter has returned every year for the past 3 years and will continue attending. She took sculling lessons here and learned more in just one week than two full years in crew at home. Wonderful time had, will return.

I just returned from my fifth visit to Craftsbury for sculling...Consistently, the venue, meals, coaching, and comraderie with other scullers was exceptional...New rowers as well as experienced scullers are in capable hands at Craftsbury...The high level of communcation ability and patience among the coaches makes any sculler more comfortable and able to his/her learning goals...I strongly recommend Craftsbury is any... When I lived in Vermont, I used to Nordic ski here frequently. The ski center was in a little rundown hut, but the skiing was some of the best I have ever experienced. The scenery, the well-groomed snow, the woods, the rolling terrain--other ski centers featured some of these, but none had the feel of Craftsbury. For the first time... More
