I stayed here two nights on a recent trip. The check in was quick and the welcome was good.
I was given a lodge at the back of the resort. It was large, but as this is mainly a ski resort it was what I...More
If this was a charming hotel with crackling fireplaces, and quaint room touches, with none of the intrusions of the modern world, I might be willing to give this place a great review. But instead, they're hard at work removing the charm of this place,...More
We went here for a couples weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the castle and were very comfortable staying there. Very well kept property with historical fixtures, furniture in the rooms. Dinner in the the restaurant...More
I travel a lot on my own for business so I am very accustom to the "glamour" of hotel life. I spent a couple of nights by myself at the Pointe Hotel, but this time was for leisure...I needed a quick relaxing- "charge your batteries"...More
We grabbed a couptopia for this weekend stay. The Castle is nice with its old charm and interesting history. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. We enjoyed the outdoor salt water pool and hot tub. Ludlow is a cute little town with some...More

Hi, our visit was in March and the summer related activities at a minimum. I would suggest that the area is hip deep in activities since abundant natural activities ,hiking galore etc. The Vermont tourism sites will have tons of stuff and the local town webs sites.
Lots of artisanal/organic food efforts in the area as well as micro breweries and anything else industrious VT'ers can come up with , enjoy!

The outdoor pool and hot tub are open all year. The pool temp is about 85 degrees and the hot tub is about 104 degrees. Both the Spa walkway and the pool deck is heated in the winter to keep them free of snow. The Suites at the Pointe hotel (675 square feet with a gas fireplace and full kitchen) offer more comfortable experience than the hotel suites at the condos (300 square feet and no kitchen).
Please do not confuse the condo hotel suites with the full 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos that are 1100,1400 and 2400 square feet receptively. Those are beautiful accommodation and are among the nicest you will find at anywhere. Please call us to get more information. 802-226-7361. Kind Regards, Andy

Greetings from Vermont. Children are welcome at both the indoor and the outdoor pool and hot tub. Typically guests who stay at the Pointe Hotel & Suites have access to the indoor facilities located at the hotel. Guests who stay at the mansion or the Castle Condominiums have access to the outdoor pool and hot tub.
The outdoor pool and hot tub is not able to handle the number of guests from the Pointe Hotel. The Pointe's facilities can handle a larger number of people. This helps ensure the guest experience is more enjoyable for all. Please call the resort at 802-226-7361 and we can help you with more information.
Kind Regards,
Andy Smith
