This is THE place to stay. I felt like I dreamed it up and it appeared! I was looking for a private getaway in a scenic vermont setting without the B and B crowds and the limitations of a cramped hotel room. It is a gorgeous two floor guesthouse that you can rent all to yourself in the heart of...

Thank you so much for your hospitality and for providing such a wonderful facility in The Swallows Nest. The setting is magnificent, picturesque, peaceful and serene. And the accommodations are equal to the best hotels; new, clean, and beautifully appointed. We look forward to spending time there again next summer. Being from Florida, we truly appreciate the mountains, open spaces,...

This is such a special place. It is quite close to town and easy to find, but you really feel you are out in the middle of the country. The properties are fun to explore and the fields are fun to hike. The guest house is cozy with plenty of room and tastefully furnished- everything you need and more. The...

I stayed at the Swallow's Nest with my girlfriend and it was incredibly nice. The guest house is immaculate and quaint, the perfect VT getaway. Lyn is so sweet and made us feel like we were at home. We would definitely go back. Breakfast at Sheri's Diner is a must. Load up on the pancakes, french toast and hash

I stayed at the Swallow's Nest in July/August 2013. There are so many great things to say about this experience. The farm is a lovely pastoral setting with hay fields, goats, and chickens. The host family are warm and welcoming but not intrusive. The proximity to Middlebury, Brandon, Killington and Pico mountains make this a convenient location in both summer...

My fiancé and our dog just ended a stay here and we really wish we did not have to leave. We stayed for the week of Thanksgiving because my fiancés' parents live in Sudbury which is about a 10-minute drive from the Nest. We enjoyed our time at the Nest so much that we intend to vacation here every Thanksgiving...

This place was great - just a few hours from Boston and well into the country, it is the perfect place to really experience that Vermont vacation. They have a small working farm and are very close to charming downtown Brandon. We highly recommend Cafe Provence and the bakery - absolutely delicious meals. Our hostess and her children were so...

We stayed at the Swallow's Nest for 3 nights during the foiliage season. This a beautifully maintained guest house with every amenity you will need for your trip. It is located very conveniently off the main streets of Brandon, VT. A small town between Rutland and Middlebury. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and many of the...

My wife, my 17 year old son, and I spent a week at the Swallow’s Nest during our Vermont vacation. The highlight of my week was spending the first morning watching the dawn break over the meadow. It was just what I needed to unwind. I won’t hesitate to stay there again should we travel to Vermont in the future....

My husband, son and I stayed at the beautiful Swallow's Nest Cottage in October during foliage season. What a great place to bring the family and take in the beauty of creation that surrounds you as you stay at the cottage on their 1,250 acre farm. The cottage is the only accomodation offered and it was just totally redone and...
