This is a wonderful campground. Very clean, well taken care of and the RV spaces are far apart for adequate space. The camp host was also very nice and it was cheap too! The bathrooms had flush toilets and were kept clean and there was a waste dumping station and a water hook up for RV's to use for potable... More

We had a nice site #22. It was spacious. Large enough for one large and one small tent in addition to our truck/trailer. The overall site is on a slight slope, but this did not disturb our ability to find spots to pitch our tents. The campground is spacious. The group sites are at the front of the site and... More

We found this campsite in the national forest close to Capitol reef. It was convenient to the campsite and was up in the mountains so it was a little cooler than the national park. The hosts were helpful and available. My only complaint was the water was contaminated. The hosts had a water barrel that they made available which was... More

We found this campground on a US Forest Service website and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of camping in this quiet, out of the way site just west of Capitol Reef. Highway 12 is a beautiful drive and we found this campground to be quiet and peaceful with many sites to choose from amid Ponderosa pine and aspen. Our camp hostess... More

We decided to stay here because it is the closest NF campground to Capital Reef. I had made a reservation through ReserveAmerica. But as anyone knows, getting the ideal campsite is something of a crap shoot. The one we reserved was good but not great. (#4) However, we discovered that nearly half of the CG was first-come-first-served, so with the... More

Stayed here in May of 2015 while visiting Capital Reef NP. Gorgeous views and very quiet. Very clean campsites, although we did not use any of the facilities. Nice high mountain setting with cool temperatures at night. We stayed here in a 30' travel trailer. Very friendly campground host, who did her job well. No cell phone service (AT&T) but... More

We stayed at the Singletree Campground for two nights in August while visiting Capitol Reef. The campground was clean and nicely spread out, with a good amount of space at each site. Our site had a one of the best picnic tables and bbq grill we have ever had at a campground - - I guess they were new for... More

Spacious forest service campground with views of the Waterpocket fold. Pretty creek runs through the camp the campground. A short trial leads to a beautiful aspen grove part way down the escarpment and on to a gorgeous waterfall.

Our week was incredible! Hiking and exploring rocky terrain. Everywhere we looked was a gorgeous view...clean air and quiet serenity (except when a generator would kick on). Bathrooms cleaned daily. NO internet or phone service...texting was possible. Many European visitors.

As Fruita in Capitol Reef was full we were directed here, we drove up and found a spot and didn't even bother driving back. It was such a beautiful and peaceful location we just spent the afternoon relaxing with the amazing views from our site. The campground hosts weren't there and the paybox was taped up so we even got... More
