My daughter and I were looking forward to a calm, beautiful stay and after a 14 hour flight stood in the lobby while the front desk ignored us and let other people check in first. Apparently the room type we had was not ready so...More
For the last 10 years, we owned a fractional condo at a property on Main Street and just sold it as it was no better than staying at a 1 star hotel. We chose to stay at The Chateaux for the past week and it...More

We booked a 2x queen and got upgraded to a king suite! The staff are wonderful. It was very quiet Monday through Wednesday. Thursday started to get busier. Breakfast were a full spread. The materials in the room are top notch. No corners were cut!...More
This property was very odd to me in many ways. It's lobby is very small and the decor in antiquated and rustic. The gathering areas appeared to be lumped together (the bar and lobby with a restuarant just off to the side). The rooms were...More

It does offer massages when it re-opens in December. The hotel website has details.
Our bathroom had a jetted tub, but I would highly recommend making sure that the jets are cleaned. Ours looked very gunked up.

You could walk, but coming back up the hill to the hotel would be very very tiring because the hills are pretty steep. Especially the very last hill to the hotel. It is very safe to walk there at night. I wouldn't worry about that at all. My estimate would be it's a good mile to mile and a half to downtown Park City. It would be downhill all the way and up steep inclines and hills all the way back to the hotel. One option would be to walk down to town if you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery and outdoors and see if the shuttle will pick you up to bring you back. If you're a hiker and in really good shape the walk back might not be a big deal to you at all. If you're coming from a much lower altitude then the hike back will be a killer for you. Hope that helps.

Good morning! Breakfast for 2 is included in the room rate for social guests while the restaurant is open. Our last breakfast for fall will be Sunday, October 30th. We will resume dining hours in early December. Thanks!
