OK, so we rented a four bedroom condo that was managed by Luxury Retreats...it was walking distance to the Silver Star chairlift and ski shop, which was amazing. Second year in a row to stay in this area. However, first time to rent through Luxury...More
Silver Star is a wonderfully cozy spot with really creative food. Reservations are a must, especially on the nights they have live cabaret music. My fav dish is the mushroom spätzle. They recently added kale to the dish, but you can nix the kale and...More
We recently stayed at one of the condos as Silver Star that is managed by Resorts West. Apparently Resorts West never got the memo that they are not supposed to be rude to people who are staying at the property. The staff on site were...More

As both contributors above mentioned the Silver Star lift does not operate in the summer. The Armstrong trail is located right off of the property and that takes you up to the mid-mountain area which allows you to connect with various other trails.
The Park City Mountain main base area typically runs from Memorial Day well into the fall (weather permitting of course). That base is just under one mile from Silver Star.
Main Street Park City is just under two miles from Silver Star. The complimentary city bus has multiple stops at Silver Star which makes it a very convenient option.
There is also an on-site bike rental shop if you prefer to pedal over to the base area or to Main Street.
