Stayed a single night. Clean and comfortable room. A quaint little family run bed and breakfast. Having been on the road a few days, we were delighted with the "homely" feel and the alternative offering.

i stopped here on a long haul drive between LA and North Dakota. I got the only room they have left with my own bathroom which is separate from the room itself. (all the other rooms have bathrooms in the room). It's really no big deal. It was very comfortable and clean. Can't speak to breakfast because I slept right...

We arrived at about six in the evening and were greeted by one of the friendly guest before the owner came out. Our key was waiting along with a card to select our breakfast time, 7:30 or 8:30. We hadn't decided on staying for breakfast but a guest advised it would be the best breakfast in town so we accepted...

We had really high expectations regarding this hotel, especially regarding the service. Well we experienced no service at all. We arrived before 8pm and nobody was there, the key was waiting for us on a table! As a consequence we also coulnd'nt get advice on dining options on a Sunday night (be aware that Monticello is quite dead so be...

We are staying at theGrist Mill Inn. My wife and I made reservations in order to explore eastern Utah National Parks etc. The experience has been fabulous. Way too many things to see and do in five days. Ben & Crystal and the Grist Mill Inn have been perfect for us. Let me enumerate: Firm bed, immaculate room, charming decorations,...

Monticello is not a big town and there were not many options. We did not want to stay in another road side motel, so we opted to give this place a try. After a long day of driving we were greeted by the night manager, who was so nice to us. We felt like we were entering someone's home. She...

We got here late but the light was on and our room key was laying on a table when we walked in; as was a reservation for us to choose when we wanted to eat breakfast. When we reached the second level our room door was open and the light was on in our room. What a beautifully appointed and...

This was a fun place to stay. The Inn still has several items of the old mill throughout the building. The rooms are fairly large clean. The bed was comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and there was plenty to eat. We had our choice of blueberry pancakes, waffles or french toast. This was an...

We were on a road trip visiting the "Big 5" in Utah. The Grist Mill Inn was a great overnight stop. The innkeepers and staff were welcoming and helpful in finding a local place for dinner. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Our breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The wi-fi was great as well.

They have built a beautiful bed and breakfast which feels like a home from home. The family are very sweet and very genuine. I can't recommend this place enough for your stay in Monticello. There are some great dirt biking trails in the area.
