My husband and I reently spent a weekend at this resort. The room was very large and spacious and had nice beds. The restaurant Fanny's Grill leaves a lot to be desired; food quality and portions for pricing is just not up to par. The thermal pool was a lot of fun but quite expensive as not included in our...

My wife and I stayed for her birthday, and it was disappointing to say the least. We we're looking to enjoy a nice weekend in a historical hotel. What we got was a dated motel room with a dingy old bathroom. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything to include other guests showering and flushing the toilet....

First let me say, I believe my husband and I carried some of the responsibility for our experience but comparatively, our end was pretty low. The drive to the Homestead is scenic and lovely any time of year. We arrived at the property early and we weren't sure if we would be accommodated with a room before check-in, but we...

This place used to be a farm, with a plantation type of setting, so there are various buildings that date back to the late 1800's and all new surrounding buildings have been built to maintain the original character. The result is that with many of the rooms, you feel like you have a cottage rental set on spacious grounds. There...

This was an awesome experience for my wife and I. We both did some scuba dives in the crater, to include a night dive and the wife got her open water certification, The room was very cozy and clean, the staff was very helpful, even the maintenance staff waved as they drove by in the carts. The grounds where fantastic...

Had a fun trip to the Homestead for our 25th anniversary. Had not been in 20 years or so. It was just the same as I remembered, and that's OK since it's a historical resort. They have done some updating to the "Crater" and the pool area since we were there last. We stayed in an "Executive Suite" (cottage) which...

We just spent the weekend at the homestead and really enjoyed the property. Nestled in the foothills, the hotel was comfortable and easily accessible to Park City. The crater was very unusual-- not sure I wanted on swim in it but definitely something to see. The food was good-- and pies tasted homemade! The rooms were average-- nothing special but...

We stayed and golfed at the Homestead last weekend. The golf was great, course was in very good condition and the GC attendants were pleasant and helpful. I had reserved a Garden King room with a large travel site. I arrived and checked in without issue, but when I arrived to my room, I was given a 2Q room. I...

The Homestead is a nice place to visit. Swimming in the pools and scuba diving in the Crater is quite nice. Simons restaurant provides good food and the staff are quite helpful in the restaurant. Sometimes the front desk staff is not very polite, but otherwise it is a good place to stay.

the downside is that the rooms are not as high end as a four star hotel. Everything else is a positive. The rooms are in individual houses or cottages from the original farm that have been converted. This way you do not have the noise of many people opening and closing doors and going up and down hallways as a...
