We stayed in a yurt that sleeps 4 and it was very comfortable with fridge and microwave, and also a great view of the Mexican Hat rock formation. The walls are drywalled and the windows are a nice feature that got good airflow into the room. The only thing to be aware of is the toilet and shower is part...

Last week, my friend and I stopped an the San Juan Inn on our motorcycle tour of Utah. While there I developed extreme Vertigo so I could not ride motorcycle at all. I was very concerned. The staff extended our reservation and worked to find me a ride to the nearest emergency room on a saturday morning. No Uber or...

Right on the San Juan River, nice room, nothing fancy, clean, great patios to hang out on and enjoy an adult beverage. I would stay there again. Near Goosenecks State Park, this inn also has a nice little grocery store.

Travelled to the area for over 20 years, on business, always stayed at the San Juan Inn. It's an older Motel in a great setting, next to the San Juan River. The owners have worked very hard to keep it clean and comfortable, in spite of it's age. Very reasonable price and only 16 miles Monument Valley, where the motels...

We had checked out early from our prior hotel so were looking for something in the Mexican Hat area. We got lucky with this place. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting outside along the river view. Even bought a few souvenirs to share with family.

Small private motel on the San Juan river. Clean room , comfortable and good showers. Inn has an attached good restuarant or town is just a mile away. Number of outdoor sitting areas with plenty of chairs and tables for enjoying peopel and the river. What a perfect setting to sit outside and relax after a day of travel.

Charming! We would definitely visit again. Our room was clean and the bedding was nice. Good quality sheets and nice comforter. They charge $15 for a pet and provide an area to walk a dog, complete with bag stations and garbage cans. Great location overlooking the river. Very friendly staff. Cell reception was nonexistent and the WiFi was okay, but...

On the drive between Monument Valley and Arches National Park you (in the middle of nowhere) cross the San Juan River near the Mexican Hat monument. At the bridge over the river you will find the San Juan Inn, Restaurant and Gift shop. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food is not 'fancy' but very tasty. The Navajo...

Thank you so much! We strive to do the best we can. The Olde Bridge Grille is actually managed by a Navajo woman with the help of her family. We are very proud of the job they have been doing. Your opinion of our handmade crafts is important to us. We strive to keep the local weavers and artisans working....

I Stayed overnight during a trip around the Four Corners area and on to the Grand Canyon. This is a simple motel in a scenic location above the San Juan River. It has a popular restaurant with good food which is a great addition for travelers in this area where stops are few and far between.

Thank you Margie! I appreciate your understanding our isolation. We try to stay open year round as there are non too many places to service the winter traveler. We are happy to accomodate you!

While traveling through the area with my dog, I made it to Bluff Utah at sunset and intended to stay in Bluff. Unfortunately there was only one hotel open and they adamantly said no pets. So I was happy to find the San Juan Inn about 25 miles down the road that allowed my dog for a $15 pet fee....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The San Juan Inn is nestled along the cliffs of the San Juan River 20 miles north of Monument Valley Tribal Park. All rooms face the river, with the upper rooms having a view of the river. The lower rooms have direct access to the patios overlooking the river and its' colorful redrock cliffs. The Olde Bridge Grille, which is located on property, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7 am-9pm daily. This Grille is a Native Navajo run enterprise. The motel office is located in the historic trading post. We pride ourselves for buying our Navajo rugs directly from the weaver. Having a well stocked grocery store, general store and curio shop, we run the trading post pretty much as it was in the early 1900s. Come join us! The Navajo people are shy but welcoming, the beauty of the land unsurpassed. ... more   less
