I haven't experienced this kind of peace in a long time. I only wish we could have stayed more than one night to really sink into the quiet. After nights in motels with the white noise of an air conditioner, the chirp of crickets was a welcome lullaby. The Valley of the Gods and this B&B are one of a...

This is our 7th time to stay at the Valley of the Gods B&B, and once more it did not disappoint. The very comfortable and welcoming porch around the old ranch house always makes me want to sit there all day long and just look at the spectacular desert scenery of the Valley of the Gods. If one drives the...

The honeymoon cabin was beyond words with a sitting room upstairs and the bedroom in a cozy stone room downstairs . No need for television or radio!!! It was really getting away! Clare and Gary were the best in making us feel at home. The breakfasts were delicious, healthy & gourmet! And great coffee!! The setting was breathtaking at the...

This is truly where to get away from it all. Totally off the grid, no TV, fantastic vistas, quiet, and peaceful. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable about the area. They share their maps to locate hiking trails and as well as lesser known areas to discover ancient ruins and pictographs / petroglyphs. The setting seems to attract like minded people....

This is how one does off-grid in style. Remarkably comfortable and quiet, lots of stone and wood, great conversation and excellent food. Just a few minutes from the always exciting Moki Dugway up to Muley Point and Cedar Mesa, and only a little further to Comb Ridge, this is a great base for exploring some of the most delightful venues...

One of my favorite B&B stays of all time. This place is truly lovely and the accommodations were clean, well kept, and very comfortable. Hosts Gary and Claire were helpful, polite, and very nice people. Much has been said about this place being off the grid, but you wouldn't know it as the amenities were modern. Just don't plan on...

Truly special place, special people, special old house of stone and huge wooden beams. Gorgeous setting. Ultra quiet. Delicious breakfasts. Great conversations. And totally "off the grid" too. No one would forget their experience here.

This was a special place! We called three months ahead and could only get one night. Check with Claire and Gary to determine what the dinning options are. The other two couples brought food with them to prepare. We were able to grab a couple of pizzas to heat up. There was no place to eat in Mexican Hat since...

What a wonderful oasis this place is! With only 4 guest rooms it is a quiet retreat. Delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, very clean rooms, solar powered, and a comfortable front porch from which to see the stars make this a great place for a quiet restorative stay. There wasn't a single negative to being there - all interesting and delightful...

A special, historic place in a unique and amazing setting. Comfortable rooms and gracious hosts offer a wonderful breakfast to start your day. Peaceful and quiet, this isolated B&B is off the grid and far from many dining options. Take a break from your electronics. The quiet, skies, and spacious views soothe the city dweller. You will be glad you...
