A very nice place. Tom's doing a great job with his B&B. His travel tips were spot on and allowed us 2 perfect days in GSENM! The room was big, the beds comfortable and the private bath clean as eberything else. A great place to explore GSENM!

We found this place because everything around Bryce was fully booked and I am glad we did. We would otherwise never have found out and explore this beautiful area. My friend told me about the list of rules she received after booking the room but I guess they make sense. Maybe the tone of voice could be a bit friendlier....

We stayed at the inn for two nights and our stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy. We drove in from Zion and did not arrive until later in the evening (7ish). It didn't occur to us to let Tom know ahead of time, since we were unsure of how long it would take us. However, Tom...

I had read the reviews and the snippy comments from the owner and decided to take a chance. Tom was pretty fair with us. He didn't seem put out that we might be late offered to make sure we could get into our room if we let him know. We ended up being about 10 minutes late but he was...

I'm not sure I understand the negative reviews. Sure there are rules. If you come to my house there are rules, too. Also, all the motels I've stayed in had the same rules. Why is it a negative just because the owner makes a point of enforcing them? When we booked the room I received an email from them making...

I made a reservation to stay in October 2016. In April 2016, our plans changed and my husband and I needed to cancel the reservation. We travel a lot, and are careful to not make reservations that are non-refundable, as we know booking this far in advance, plans are apt to change. Tom was firm that if you booked greater...

The room was clean. Good email communication regarding our reservation. There are LOTS of rules at this B&B so I felt more like a untrustworthy child than a guest. The owner took several opportunities a day to make derogatory remarks about the locals. I like local, small-town culture, even when it is quirky. I did not engage in this type...

We only stayed here one night, and for that I am grateful. Although the proprietor is congenial and the rooms are clean (they are separate from the main house, like a motel), the breakfast was terrible, inedible actually, some sort of unrecognizable mush that appeared to be concocted from leftovers. And even if it were edible, we wouldn't have eaten...

After 4 requests to reply to this review from guests I will now do so after @5 months. Yes I did read this review in October and my first instinct was to call this person and talk/apologize to them. Soooo, I went through ALL of my Reservation cards from the 1st of October until the day I got the review,...

Tom is a bit of a martinet. The list of don'ts for this B&B extends for a full page. The room was quite nice, though the wall to our next door neighbor was so thin we could hear their conversation. TV was ancient and screen blocked by bed posts. Breakfast was at two sittings and "better not be late". Our...

I had a whole LONG reply to this review but decided to say that if the guest had come talked to me about his "issues" I am sure I could have explained why I do things the way I do.. Some of them I have not thought of, some could of been explained why and others I do not get...

We only stayed one night but we were very impressed. The rooms were clean and the bed was quite comfy. plenty of hot water in a nice modern bathroom. The owner was friendly and provided a nice breakfast. I would recommend this B&B to anyone planning to spend time in Escalante.
