Escalate Outfitter was an amazing experience. The staff was more then helpful. We stayed in the lost cabin and it was perfect. I would definitely come back to outfitters. An amazing experience for some big city girls!

the food (pizza and salads to die for, including gluten free), the bookstore and the outfitter store. What an incredible surprise to find this gem. They also have cabins to rent but didn't do that. We were referred here as a luncheon spot during a long drive through on route 12 and ended up back there on the return trip.... More

Escalante Outfitters The cabin was everything it needed to be – clean, warm and comfortable. Even though it was more cozy than spacious, it had plenty of room. Small touches like hooks (made from horseshoes) to hang your clothes or towels helped make the most of the space. The only suggestion we’d give would be to have a light switch... More

We camped here on 3 separate nights in-between backpacking in the nearby Escalante canyons. The camping is good and the showers are superb. You also have the outfitters next door with a great gear and book shop and diner. Pizzas are recommended. They are also one of very few wine merchants we found! Altogether we loved the outfitters and can't... More

As the first time we were here, the cabins are very quaint but perfect size. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a common bathroom which are clean and close to your cabin. Again a great stay for 3 nights this year. Internet was not very good, if it worked at all.

Stopped here for one night while traveling thru Utah. Location was great! Price was extremely affordable! Cabins were simple and small....but clean and had the basics needed. Only downside was the community bathroom/shower building. Had dinner and breakfast here. In would recommend their pizza (not calzones...too doughy) and their homemade oatmeal which was very delicious with its nuts and fruits... More

Stayed in a 2 person bunk cabin. Conveniently located. Clean room, comfortable mattresses. Heater worked great. Enough lights and outlets. Clean and warm bathroom facilities. Great deal. The menu prices were higher than where we would usually eat out but the restaurant was about the same prices as the other places in town. (and we do not eat out that... More

This is a great place to stay, the cabins were very comfortable, the shower and toilet block spotlessly clean and to top it all off it had a wonderful onsite restaurant. The cabins did have a heater and a fan but the tempertaure was fine without the use of these. The bedlinen and towels are provided so really everything is... More

I was a guest at Escalante Outfitters in october 2016 for three nights. I reserved a cabin in end of february - prices in Escalante for accommodations are not that cheap for that region. Regarding the location and the surrounding area Escalante Outfitters was the cheapest alternative instead of staying in a tent. The cabin was small but with a... More

We have never stayed in a cabin but thought it would be fun. This was above our expectations. The cabin was very clean and carpeted. The bathrooms were great! I would go back! It was decorated nicely. The cafe was delicious!
