Unique B&B, loved the rustic decor and the beautiful wood work. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare your our breakfast. The king bed upstairs comfortable and the deck upstairs has a wonderful view. Shannon and Jenifer are very friendly and have done a superb job of rebuilding this property. Bonus, a great horned owl in one of their pear...

I emailed Wild West Retreat and asked them to call me with question I had about reservations. They declined to call me. They did reply to my email by directing me to their web site for questions about reservations. Very annoying...

Perfect stay! Jennifer was great in communicating before our stay and very friendly when checking-in. After a cramped few nights at the national park lodge at Zion it was great to have some real space at the Barn - with an ultra-comfortable king bed, and two single beds for the boys. Awesome fireplace, great kitchen / dining area and all-around...

We stayed at "the barn" in September. It was a really special place. We were welcomed by Jennifer stocking our fridge with breakfast items. The two story barn is authentic and yet modern. It has a full kitchen, bath. living room and upstairs bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed. I loved our front porch and upstairs balcony. We ate...

We stayed two nights in "The Barn" of the Wild West Retreat. Despite its name, the barn is quite un-barn like. The barn is a separate building with its own driveway and vine covered parking spot. It has a lovely covered patio at the front door with tables and chairs for enjoying the sunset. Inside, you walk into the well...

We booked the Pioneer Home for 3 nights. The place has been renovated without losing the atmosphere of a 1920's Pioneer Home. Wi-Fi worked perfect. The refrigerator was holding several items already when we arrived. Jennifer, the hostess is very helpful and kind. We absolutely recommend this place!

We spent a very comfortable 3 nights in the barn. It’s quirky in design (with a king bed and sofa bed on a mezzanine level). But it all works really well, with all sorts of features. A well stocked kitchen, complete with initial ingredients for breakfast. A very comfortable bed. Having a patio and balcony on opposite sides of the...

Stayed there for only one night and rented both the Pioneer Home and the Barn. We really loved this place. It is cozy and very special. We used the gas grill on the patio to grill steaks. The kitchen is well stocked. They provided everything for a nice breakfast, which we enjoyed on the terrace. We already decided that next...

Booked the Wild West Retreat having read the reviews, and can only confirm all the positives you'll read here on TripAdvisor. The place is so characteristic, cosy and homely - simply perfect after a day's hiking in the wonderful Escalante area. The barn itself is full of character, comfortable, clean and cosy. Step in and feel at home. Our kids...
