We got there after a day's hiking at Zion National Park. The Resort is very remote in a forest location with piles of snow around. The key was left for us in reception. The room was extremely small but had much needed heating and hot shower. Restaurant was closed both at night and in the morning. Luckily we had some...

I stayed here because of its location in between Bryce and Zion. The resort is in a very small town in the mountains. I knew that there wouldn't be many services around the resort so I brought food with me. I enjoyed the isolated mountain location and the drive through the mountains getting in and out was pretty. My limited...

It was a nice place to stay if you plan to visit both Zion and Bryce. The resort was about in the middle of the 2 National Park. Wonderful scenic view for driving to Zion. There were 6 of us, the room would accommodate 8 people comfortably. Four bedrooms with two and a half baths. The master bedroom with king...

Good place in a very secluded place, surrounded by woods. Please be careful about closing time. We were very lucky to find a very nice, helpful person in the lobby at 9:30pm. The lobby closes early, 8pm. The suite we had booked was already occupied by another family, we found out after we tried to open the door. Luckily there...

We loved our little cabin. Opening hours for check in and Restaurant are a bit short, but they offer a special service for late check in. The prices for the cabins and also the food in the Restaurant are moderate. The cabin was clean and spacious. Internet wasn't working too well, but then we were in the middle of a...

We were fortunate and did read about the hours of the area beforehand. They do close most shops and restaurants early in the area. We came in about nine but we got our room key easily and had already had dinner. Cable TV worked great. We got up for breakfast (only open 8 to 10) and it was great food...

PRO: Mountain Home was big enough for 16 adults. Very quiet location. Amazing for a group of friends. One hour away from Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. CONS: We had a late check-in, which I called twice the front desk about the same day. We should have found an envelope with our keys, but we found an envelope with...

We booked Pinewoods specifically because of its location and had read earlier reviews about nothing being open after 6 pm. It's fairly remote, about 11 miles west of Utah Route 14 and the road was crawling with deer - we passed 6 in a span of 10 miles. Anyway, we ate dinner in Springdale (just outside Zion NP) because we...

Got to Duck Creek early evening thinking we could buy groceries there and that the town didn't close at 7, but we were mistaken. Nothing was open. That night we stopped by the Pinewoods Resort just as it was closing and met Judy who gave us the bad news. The restaurant was closed. We were not staying at the lodge...

We arrived late after spending a full day in the National Parks. We had received an email with instructions for how to pick up our key after the front desk closed. The process went exactly as it was presented and made our evening go smoothly. We stayed in the hotel rooms, unit 8. The room isn't fancy and the decor...
