Given that it's located in a rather remote spot, the Desert Rose is really an interesting inn. Bluff, Utah is a great spot from which to access places like Hovenweep National Monument, Four Corners and other sites. It is not, however, a hot bed of activity, especially if you're visiting off season (like we did in November). We stayed in...

A singular property in the midst off great scenic wonder. The hotel is constructed of western timber and decorated with native American art work. Desert Rose has captured the native and old west character of the area. Extensive landscaping and an Olympic sized indoor swimming pool with hot tub are there for the taking. The is the best accommodation within...

We were so surprised, after driving through a whole lotta nuthin, to find ourselves pulling up to this great place. We were stopping here just for one night as part of a trip seeing Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, and several other places in this general area. The room was lovely, and very clean. The view behind...

Stopped here on way home from Santa Fe. The rooms were clean and the onsite restaurant, Dukes was a suprise. Previous reviews were not so good, but it looks like they got a better chef. Dinner menu had a great selection, but breakfast was more limited. Service was spot on, and food tasty. We ate outside on the covered porch....

As we pulled into the small town of Bluff, I did not know what to expect for our lodging. When we pulled into the parking lot, I was still concerned. However as we opened the door to our room in the newly built Courtyard addition, what a nice surprise. The room was large, modern and clean. The lobby and amenities...

Stopped here on a road trip from Denver to Phoenix. Very clean and confutable place. Hotel staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. I found the food odd.... It tasted like someone watched food network and didn't quite grab the concept. Also they do not serve alcohol. I do feel like this hotel is far...

The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. When making our reservation, I "think" I asked for two beds in the room. However, upon arrival, we learned there was only one bed in our assigned cottage. Even though the inn was fully booked, they were able to accommodate our request for two beds. The...

The room was new and very well appointed, although whoever designed the height of the bed and nightstands miscalculated. The bed is very high, and the night stands much lower, it made it difficult to utilize them. The patio was a nice surprise. I was disappointed we didn't get a view of the desert mountains, but the view of the...

We stayed here after a visit to Monument Valley. I am confident that it is far superior to the hotels at the Valley. We were in the Courtyard wing which is the newer part of the hotel complex. Our room was luxury in quality, far better than the pictures on the net. I suggest you stay in the new wing,...

Lovely location , nice rooms, friendly staff and a good restaurant. The swimming pool has the most unique view and is part of good fitness facilities. The only downside is the noisy external air conditioning fans, especially when its not yours. Overall a good choice and a peaceful location. The bistro opposite the hotel is also an excellent option.
