We have stayed here several times when it was KOA. It's now called Van Horn RV Park. Not much has changed. The sites are decomposed granite. Reasonably level and long enough to leave the toad connected. We are 66' overall and had no problem. They have a restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner. We paid $36 per night...

The staff is amazing, the campground has a lot to be desired, cant walk you dogs due to cats stickers that grow in the grass (there lawns are not treated) chickens not gated so you do not feel safe. We pulled in at 6:00 pm were out of there by 6:00 am the next morning.

Stayed here twice on my way to and fro San Antonio. First time after closing, easy late check in and finding site and hooking up. Second time in daylight, nice flat site, pouring rain all night and the decomposed granite surface drains very well. Has great free WiFi, cable TV, and two side by side fenced dog parks. Very well...

Stayed in one of their cabins, which I have at many KOA's across the country when traveling by myself. The cabins here had a few extra amenities I hadn't had at other KOAs. This cabin had a refrigerator and TV. They have a nice little camp store and small resturant, although I didn't have time to try it out.

Looking for an overnight as we transversed in our Class A 44 foot motorhome pulling a tandem car dolly with our Vulcan 2000 and mini cooper. Easy to make a last minute reservation. They were mostly full and were lucky to get in. Parked in a pull thru with lots of space. The spaces were gravel and looked like if...

Was part of a coast-to-coast volunteer rescue pupdog transport, so I was looking for affordable pet friendly accomodations. I came across the KOA when looking at the Van Horn restaurant reviews. This KOA has a little cafe (I did not eat there, wish I would/could have). Would definitely stay there again, either in a cabin or in our RV.

This is a typical older KOA. All gravel but all level sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A couple of things to keep in mind. Don't expect there to be directional signs to the park, use your GPS. And while all the sites are pull thru only the back row sites are long enough for larger rigs without...

Nice folks! Mangers have been married for 44 years and they are great. RV spots are level which makes it easy for a overnight stay. Enables leaving the towable on the tow vehicle. This place even does breakfast and dinner menu selection. Eat at the café or they will deliver to your rig. We opted for delivery and they delivered...

Full hookup, reasonable price. Front counter staff were great, husband/wife team, had a good laugh as they argued (in a fun way) throughout our check in. The only issue we had was, the front counter staff said we were able to have dinner delivered to our site, the kitchen staff turned their noses up a bit at us for requesting...

Nice, clean campground with full hookups and large spaces. Conveniently located off IH 10 and Hwy 90. Relatively quiet with the interstate and railroad in the distance. There is a small cafe on site. We would highly recommend this campground.
