Passing through to Port A and needed a night's sleep before continuing on. Checked in late, showered and right to bed. Everything was just grungy. Shower floor was dirty, trash between the bed and night stand, and hair in the sink. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Again, depends on what you really expect from Comfort Inn.
Arriving quite late we crawled into one of the queen beds the next morning we saw how filthy the room was- the other bed has yellow crusty stuff on it and a tag off someone’s jewelry purchase and hair- the microwave was dirty, the carpets not vacuumed nor the tile mopped. Nothing wiped down and room smelled like cologne or cleaner-manger apparently doesn’t actually show up to work as they are never there and do not respond to emails either. was finally told by a choice hotel phone rep that the front desk finally told them if we wanted a refund we have to go thru Priceline since we booked the trip thru them- Priceline called them repeatedly, while I was on hold, and the hotel would pick up the phone and hang it up. Disgusting property and management
The location of this hotel was good for our visit which was the outlet mall and the river. I was disappointed with the quality of the hotel. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom floors were not as clean as I would like. The hotel lobby smelled like some sort of fabric refresher or something that had a scent I could not put my finger on, but I did not care for it. The breakfast was pitiful partially due to covid. Oatmeal, sausage biscuits, yogurt, juice and coffee. Fruit would have been great. There were supposed to be prepackaged muffins, but if they had them, they didn’t replenish for the hour I sat in the lobby. I will say one very important this was the bed was extremely comfortable. It’s one of the few hotel stays I have had where my back didn’t bother me when I woke up.…
My daughter and I planned a 2 night girls trip to the outlet mall. Ill start with the good. The girl that checked us in was very sweet. The lobby area was neat and clean. Unfortunately thats where the good ends pretty much. We went up to our room on the 4th floor. When we walked in it didnt appear super clean but nothing horrible right off. Then as we got settled in for the night we noticed the bathroom was awful. The toilet paper holder was broke and the roll was just sitting on one of the handles. The towel hook was broke also. My daughter went to take a shower and there was no shower curtain! Water got everywhere. Then she found a kids toy in the bathroom from previous guest so obviously it wasn’t cleaned properly. The bed on the right ( the shorter one ) seemed ok. The one on the left had a huge lump in the middle and dried blood on the comforter. I rarely leave reviews, especially bad ones but I felt this warranted it. When we left there was no one at the front desk so we didnt get a chance to talk to anyone about the issues. …
High lights/ easy to find and sanitation stations available. Negatives/ lazy evening staff, no amenities are actually available, the beds creak like crazy, and god help you if you have problems or complaints and had the audacity to book through a third party. Your on your own! Oh btw better turn on that hot water in the shower for 30 min before you you actually want to bathe. Never again will I give comfort inn my money!
