We just returned from a great 3 night stay at Hoope's House. Paula was so kind and helpful, checking on us throughout our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. Kayla, the housekeeper kept our room spotlessly clean ! We had a delicious...More

What a wonderful three-day stay we had! The hotel is beautifully maintained, to provide a tremendous atmosphere with period furniture and tasteful decoration, thoughtfully blended with a modern kitchen and bathroom designs. We had bedroom 3 in the original house, which was quiet and very...More

The four rooms in the old house (1-4) are upstairs, and being old do not have much room to maneuver around beds and such. I think there is a small service elevator, but there are also small steps here and there upstairs. Rooms 5 and beyond are at ground level around the pool outside at the back, so would probably be easier. There seemed to be all the right slopes at the back so wheelchairs could get around easily
We're not experts on what is needed to meet the spec for disabled access, however, and no doubt some disabled have different needs from others. The best thing is to write to Paula there and tell her what you need. She was very helpful and I'm sure she will be able to answer all your questions.
It is a really nice place to stay, and very conveniently located for the spots you are most likely to want to visit in Rockport, so we hope they have a room that meets your needs! We hope to find a way to go back this year!
