Our cottage was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a weekend at the beach. There was no pool, but my children had a good time playing in the dog walk area, and the beach was only a two minute walk away.

When we checked in we were told that wifi was "spotty" and we may get dropped from time to time. Actually wifi is non existent and we could not get any wifi at all. I travel with two teenagers and we rely on hotel wifi when we travel. Who doesn't provide wifi in 2017!!

We are so sorry for your wifi experience. We do have a very sophisticated system that was down because one of the radios (yes, it is distributed by radio waves to various stations, crazy I know) had filled with water and totally burned out. We use Ubiquiti equipment as they are one of the best wifi distribution companies. That radio...

Laughing Horse Lodge is exactly as they represent it...kitchy, funky, not fancy, but comfortable. I stayed in 1A, The Painted Pony which is an efficiency with a full bed, kitchenette and a bath with a shower. There is a dinette in the kitchen. Even though it was the unit next to the street, it was quiet. The room was clean...

We arrived before the rest of our party for Spring Break so we stayed in an efficiency for a night that was perfect size for hubby and I. Next day moved into a 3bdrm that was just as lovely and had lots of room. Kids enjoyed bunk beds and lots of towels provided. We had a trailer with a golf...

We chose 'Crazy Horse' and found it to be ideal for what our get away vision was. Semi-private patio provided a place for yoga, game night, reading, and getting all our jabbering out of our systems before going home to the husbands. Truthfully the refrigerator/freezer needs a new life. Walking distance (could be measured in yards) to Shells Seafood &...

We spent a month in cottage 3a. We'd like to thank everyone working at the lodge for being so nice and for providing us with such clean accommodations. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed somewhere else a couple years ago that wasn't as well kept and didn't launder the towels or bedding for if you stayed more than a couple...

The cottage was exactly what we expected and we really enjoyed our stay. These are older buildings, so are not going to be perfect, but are well maintained, very cute and unique. We had privacy, a nice outdoor patio and were very close to both the beach and town. Our cottage was also very clean. Beds were comfortable - nice...

We visited Port Aransas for a few days in December. Room is nothing fancy and we found it to be practical, clean and quiet. Small kitchenette available if needed. Beach is a short 2 block stroll away. Flat screen TV and free WIFI. Dog friendly, perfect place if you are traveling with your fur babies.

My wife and I wanted a pet friendly place near the beach to stay on our recent trip to Port Aransas, and booked two nights at the Laughing Horse. The rates and pet policy and fee were very reasonable and it is about two blocks from the beach. We booked one of their smaller rooms, 1A, and while we enjoyed...
