The park is old but nice. Some campsites are right on rivers edge along side the only road. So almost like camping next to a dusty road, really. Other campsites are above on hillside. Remodeled restrooms with showers very nice & clean. Train roars all night long every hour. As for as the river it is not as clean &...

Whoever does their website is awesome because the park is crowded , hard to navigate, and drab. The website people made a pig in the poke look like a romantic getaway. Not coming back! Not worth the price and hassle.

A hidden gem in New Braunfels! This is an old park and you will find some friendly people that are spending much long visits than our 4 days! The park is nestled next to the Comal River. There are sites right next to the river, but the drawback there is that there is no internet - not a problem for...

We love the location and setting, but the RV park's roads need repair. Lots of potholes and dust. No wifi for the riverside RV sites. Lots of noise from nearby trains... all night. But, it's a great location to walk to downtown and to the Wurstfest in November.

I love this place. Always took my kids there Tom always made us feel at home there. Sang with guitar. My kids loved him. We had a blast there. Me and my girlfriends made a few visits there 16 years ago. Tom and the guys used to play for everyone up at the pavilion.

We had high hopes for the place because it stated to be "Family Friendly" on their website. When we arrived Friday evening, it was nice, calm and relaxing, but nothing for the kids to do. Saturday around lunch time all the people who float the River started showing up...and the management pretty much could care less that we are upset...

The last time I stayed at this RV park was in September 2014. I stayed in a site next to the river, and could not have been happier! It was beautiful, the lady who ran the office was so sweet, considerate, and helpful, and the restroom closest to the office was very nice and clean. Fast forward to the weekend...

Hello, it's me...Rob Lucas - the guy they hired on here to try and better the place. Well, after only 3 and 1/2 months. The owners here fired me. And the pretense under which, they lured me here from California - to bring about much needed changes and upgrades? Was a lie. They were very adamant about the fact that...

I must say that reading reviews can be deceiving, but there were quite a few negative reviews from the past. I was concerned but decided to give them a chance! I must say I was very pleased. I will say that the top negative things people have mentioned are the train. Yes even with the quiet zone, you will hear...

Spring of 2014, has brought me here. As the new Park/Host and Chief Maintenance Engnr. Hello, my name is Rob Lucas. The owners of this R/V Park and Campground have relocated me here. To help beautify and bring about some much needed changes to LRVP&CG. I have held mngmnt. positions in 5 resort parks since 2003 - this being my...

“My recommendation is to stay on the level closest to the river. If you do have to stay on top of the hill, avoid the restrooms located there.”

“tube rental is in the park and river access is also in the park. Additional parking is available when renting tubes this makes for a stress-free float. washing machines are H.E. so its best to use liquid then throw in clothes after its mixed up. The river sites r the best”
