Detailed Reviews
Lovely apartment, great location and beautiful sea views.
The staircase is NOT designed for those who are elderly, young children or disabled! they are spiral, steep and not easy to negotiate.
The mattresses on the beds are very HARD! although a matress topper was added it made no difference and I ended up sleeping on top of pillows.
There is no guidance book on how to use the microwave, tv's, fan system or the remote outside canopy...it would of been a great help!
We stayed for 10 days but the toiletries are not replenished. There is only one dishwasher tablet left for the entire stay and we felt it shoukd have a washing machine!

Central, immaculate, best view ever, iron and ironing board delivered when requested, huge wrap around balcony furnished to a high standard, lovely pool and bar downstairs! Things to know, pool towels not provided, spiral staircase probably not ideal if you have children under 4/5 and lift was old and slow meaning a climb of seven flights of stairs.

I would not be calling it 5* that is for sure.
We had issues with sewage smells, air con not working and a lack of customer service. Unfortunately Upper is managed separately to the hotel and as much as the staff on reception we’re understanding and tried to resolve our issues which took up a lot of our time on holiday the Manager of Upper was like talking to a robot who repeatedly apologised for the inconvenience but only offered up half a day refund - he could not grasp the concept that - apartment smelt of sewage - other accommodation was offered to us to move to then move again - other accommodation was offered but noise of closed pool being repaired was too much - offer of other accommodation we could move to after being in a second apartment, it would of been our third was overlooking approximately 12 apartments that were being completely renovated.
We have written to the Senior Management and been ignored.
Very disappointing
Very poor customer service

A few days before our family trip here, we were informed our 8 person Villa was cancelled.
Luckily I was in Tenerife at the time, so I spent the my first day trying to sort out alternative accommodation. After being told it was Expedia’s fault, I visited the office to find out the truth which was truly shocking, our villa was cancelled as the owners of the villa turned up last minute and wanted to use it! Apparently they can do this, so please watch out.
The alternative was not suitable as we had 2 families, therefore 8 people in a 6 people accommodation. The beach villa we paid for was now a much smaller villa on the resort with not enough beds.
I spent the second day trying to get confirmation that the 3 bed was still available as we would have had nowhere to stay and we would have had to cancel flights.
I then find out my bank card was blocked as they took out too much from my bank account.
I was then refused checking in as I hadn’t paid!
I was then told the room was ready and it wasn’t.
I then had no lighting for most of the first day.
The negotiation went on most of our trip, their idea of a fair settlement was just paying full price for the 6 people accommodation.
They sorted out other accommodation for the final days, but the damage was done and the stress was unnecessary on a holiday.
The negotiation went on and they offered very little, they threatened that i had to pay the amount stated. They then turned the electricity off until the bill was paid. I had no choice with 2 family's there. I thought i would continue the fight for a fair compensation once home, but they never reply.
