I travelled with SAGA holidays and never again as they are far too expensive and the guests were 80, 90+ I was placed in a small single room with a cockroach in my bathroom. The air conditioning gave me a really bad cold and sore throat. I am now doubtful whether the air con is serviced regularly? The shower went... More

This is the first time we choose a Riu hotel and it won't be the last time. The ambiance is a bit outdated or "classic" so to say. The food is good. We had breakfast and dinner included. It excellent food but above average compared to other hotels I know with "buffet" food. The most positive points are its location... More

Having just arrived home from our holiday I felt I had to write a review. From start to finish the service was amazing, from champagne on arrival to the use of a room after we checked out for showers. In particular anamarie and Jose were superb!

We have just returned from a week at this hotel and had a really good time...couldn't fault it!! The best thing for me was being able to get a sun bed with ease, as we were told they could not be reserved until 10.30am...Towels provided for pool and changed every day if required, food quality and choices very good, rooms... Popped down south for a weekend to see some friends. I had stayed here 2015 also. I have stayed in a few Riu Hotels in Playa Del Ingles and to be honest I find their staff very stiff. Maybe it is the clientele that stay in the Riu hotels. This hotel is a bit different. The staff are friendly and... More

A friend and I spent altogether too short a week at the Riu Palmeris in May. We were unable to fault it. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and nothing was too much trouble for our rep Michelle. The food was excellent, always hot and freshly cooked with plenty of variety. We ate in the a... An older hotel, good staff in the main, good location, if you ignore the rather "sleezy" bars nearby. room clean but antique TV with wrong make channel changer. Good view from balcony. Good pool but not always easy to get sun beds even out of top season. The food was not all that good, cold plates, precooked food left keeping... More

Ok, just be aware this is not a party hotel! It caters mainly for 65+ often German couples. That is the only proviso. Other than that this hotel is excellent. Spotlessly clean, good sized rooms with balcony and great views, a lovely pool area and the food is excellent too (even free prosecco at Sunday breakfast!). All the food is... More
