Great covid routines, strict guidelines in operation which makes you feel very safe and at ease, Rooms are well equipt, modern decor, and immaculately clean with maid daily and kettle & cups in each room, hotel grounds and swimming pools are well maintained clean & tidy, lovely family and couple environment with nice little pool and splash park for the kiddies, with water slides for the older children. Please note if you are after the adult only pool you will need to book an adult only room. Now to the all inclusive food and bar areas, staff extremely help & knowledgeable and the food for a buffet restaurant has been out of this world, 24 hour drinking machines and snacks, cannot find any faults with the food, drink or hotel. The hotel is well situated only a short walk to the beach and local amenities. Last but not least I cannot finish this review with mentioning the front of house guy at reception (name to follow) who has been absolutely amazing

In general the resort is nice, nicely spread out layout which makes it not very busy overall when walking around, though with the Covid period I don't know if the resort was operating at capacity. There's a lot of areas to lay out under the palm trees that are planted everywhere. The location is up on a hill and I was a bit worried about the main road nearby but I didn't hear it once. It's a little bit away from stores and such and there are of course the stairs to the beach which are good for exercise but this is made very clear, so it's not an issue. The beach nearby is also not too busy at least not when I was there. Overall it's a nice location and not too busy an area as it's a dead end street. The rooms are basic but nicely newly renovated. Though the beds slide around a bit too easily, so when you move in your sleep, the bed also slightly moves. Bathroom and shower are also nice with plenty of little amenities like skincare. I personally didn't like the perfume in the shower gel but that's a personal preference. Though one thing they forget in the renovation, the rest of the building. The carpets look ancient and not very clean. And the main issue the lift, my room was next to the lift and it sounded like it was running on Diesel rather than electricity. The displays for room level and such also don't work, makes me wonder when the lift was last inspected and whether it's fully safe. I stayed in a deluxe room (which I didn't know about but apparently this was the only option that was available on the TUI website at the time) which also gives you a different colour armband. Though the only difference that I could tell was the access the adults only pool and the ocean views. In regards to this pool, it's a nice pool and all but what about some shade? There's no shade there whatsoever, it kind of feels like a forgotten area of the resort in that sense. It desperately needs some shade areas, I like sitting at a pool but I want shade and don't want to be burned alive. That's why I didn't use it. Now for the biggest problem at the resort, the food. Breakfast is just bad, no idea how you can make all eggs taste bad. The bread rolls are clearly of the factory bake-off kind. Then the leftovers from breakfast were used for lunch and dinner I think. Lunch and dinner were quite mediocre, a lot of the food had a phoned it in feel. Was expecting a bigger selection and some more variation. Though the biggest slap in the face was the frozen pizza that was part of the lunch buffet on my day of departure. I didn't eat that but the chicken I had that day was reheated multiple times already looking at how dry it was and the fries weren't even properly fried. So the last meal was just outright bad. While I wouldn't expect high level cuisine at an all inclusive, of all the all inclusives I've stayed at this was clearly the worst food wise. I didn't make use of the snack options at the upper terrace, I don't want to know how many hours some of that food was sitting there. I have to give them credit for their Covid measures though, it all seemed very much in order to prevent infections. Though the walking direction arrows at the restaurant were slightly confusing at times. One final note though, they could remove the wet floor signs in certain areas. Carpet usually isn't slippery when it's wet and they are just there 24/7, so they're not put in place for wet floors but are just there.

Just returned from 10 days here as a family of 4 (Kids aged 4 and 1). We had a great time. Rooms are basic but clean and fresh. Had everything we needed. Pool area was great. Both kids loved the splash zone and my 4 year old was on and off the slides all day long. The self serve drinks machines were closed by the pool. No issue, just walk an extra 100 yards to the bar. I did find it a little strange that if you wanted your towel changed during your stay you have to pay 1€. Food was fine. Not as good as some all inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at. There was no themed nights and it did become a little repetitive sometimes. There was always plenty to eat and you’ll never go hungry. The snack bar was open 11:00-23:00. I’ve read recent reviews about checking out at 12 and all inclusive ending at 12. This was not the case with us. We checked out bang on 12 at reception. We then had 4 hours at the hotel where we ate in the restaurant and drank in reception with no issue at all. The entertainment team work really hard and we enjoyed the fitness sessions in the pool. The evening entertainment is pretty poor. Overall I’d recommend this hotel if you don’t have a huge budget. We paid £2400 for 4 of us for 10 nights, I think we got great value for money.

Dear Mr. Marshall, thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your stay at Abora Interclub Atlantic By Lopesan with us and other travellers. We are very pleased that we met your expectations and almost more importantly that the children had a great time. As for the €1 charge for washing pool towels, this is standard for our chain. We are sorry that you were not aware of this and that it caused you inconvenience. We offer a varied buffet with five themed evenings, we are sorry that this was not to your taste or that you felt it was repetitive. The hotel contract states that the all inclusive service ends at 12 noon, but some travel agents have a separate contract with the hotel to allow you to enjoy the service until you leave the hotel. As for the evening shows, this year we are forced to control capacity and restrictions, so some activities have been affected. We understand your frustration in this regard and regret that our efforts to try to keep restrictions to a minimum have not been as successful as we had anticipated. We would be happy to welcome you back soon and remain at your disposal for anything you may need. Best regards,

If you are British I really wouldn't bother stopping here! The way we have been treated compared to how the Spanish have been treated is disgusting! Really is one rule for them. Half the drink dispenser are closed so to grab a drink it's either end of the complex. Rooms not clean we have had ants in the beds and mould in the bathroom. We do feel that the hotel are just after every penny it can get out of you withe the late check out rooms and having to pay for the all inclusive again even tho you have already paid for it l. And if you travel with tui don't expect any help at all with anything. If you must travel here go with jet 2!
