We visited as a family of three for a week at the end of August. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone. The service was first class - big thanks to Nancy on reception for her efforts to ensure we had a fabulous stay. The entire staff cannot do enough for you and are extremely professional. Extra care was taken to help us with an allergy and we felt very well catered for. The room was lovely, was well maintained and the small size of the hotel means all services are easily accessible. We found soundproofing to be excellent. We stayed on a full board basis and all meals were of extremely high quality. The personal service was such that staff soon knew us by name. Still and sparkling water is always available and there was often another soft drink such as iced tea or juice. From around 7pm, a selection of drinks including cava is freely available along with various canapés. The hotel was always quiet and we were always able to sit wherever we liked for meals and the pool was mostly deserted. Pool towels are placed in your room daily and there are bathrobes and slippers. The entire resort is very well themed and we appreciated the ‘cowboy’ music played in the background throughout the day. There is a turndown service at night with towels being replenished along with toiletries as required. The lunch vouchers we received on the full board basis had a value of €30 each, meaning we were able to purchase wine and other drinks with our lunch. The sparkling sangria was particularly delicious! For dinner at the hotel, three courses are included along with a bottle of water and any other drink of your choosing. If you choose to eat in the park, the dinner value is €35 per person, although we found the service and food quality much higher at the hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay at PortAventura.

We spend some days every year in this hotel and I habe to say that every time I find it better. Excellent food, unbelievable rooms and excellent service. There's a perfect and private swimming pool and direct access to portaventura. The best: breakfast with excellent jamon and king size bed to recover your bones.

I agree that this is definitely not a 5 stars hotel. Rooms are big for 2 people as they are designed for 4 but walls are thin and you can hear your disturbing neighbour's all night. Furniture is very basic and bathroom as well. Check in and checkout are lengthy as there was only one person on the reception. Restaurant is of a good quality , service is average. They only put one bottle of water during the whole stay and you have to purchase the water in your room. That is definitely not the 5 stars standards. There is a small bar next to the lobby but you have to ask for the bar attendant to come . Maybe we came during off- season .

We made a last minute decision whilst on holiday to spend our last day in portaventura. As we were flying home from reus we decided to book our last nights holiday at portaventura. Looking at the reviews of the other hotels I became a bit wary so decided to look at mansion de Lucy all be it thinking it would be too expensive. It was always our intention to purchase the premium express passes due to the short time we had so I was extremely surprised that the price for one night only came out at €50 Euro’s more than what I would have paid at a lower rated hotel, and as breakfast was included it was prettt good value. Finding the Park was pretty easy... we did have difficulty finding the correct lane for the hotel, but car parking staff were helpful. We were really pleased with the hotel. Easy to check in, no wait, knowledgable English speaking staff. Headed straight to park and received text at 2pm to say room was ready. Room was lovely, sofa bed had two separate pull out beds which was great for two older children, air conditioning, lovely bathroom..breakfast was great. Easy walk to the parks. Would definitely recommend.. it’s not the Ritz but it suited us just fine.

The Gold River area is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and Mansion de Lucy is one of the Hotels in this location. Having booked Callaghan next door we were upgraded to Mansion de Lucy. We are a family of 4 and our room consisted bed and pull out sofa. Sofa bed was comfortable and had no issue with it. Breakfasts were great with a full a la carte menu and a buffet of fruits, cheeses, cereal, breads, yogurts and so much more. The staff in dining room were lovely and were more than helpful to my husband who asked about gluten free options. Reception staff are wonderful and definitely couldn't praise them enough. Dinner is an a la carte menu and all was cooked to perfection. The private pool for hotel guests was empty most days. We had a brilliant time here and would love to return again.
