Lovely hotel, rooms very nice,en-suite spacious. Great location near promenade. My only criticism would be the food ..we opted for half board, breakfast ok but mediocre..the dinners were terrible..we had 3 dinners out of the 7.I ordered roast chicken on one occasion but was very disappointed when a chicken leg arrived!!My husband ordered pork which was undercooked.
Thank jaccor4

We stayed for 11 nights in a Superior Room on the 5th floor. I'm not sure if all Superior Rooms are 'corner rooms' but our was with a large wrap around balcony with 2 chairs on one side and 2 sun loungers on the other. I agree with previous reviewers that a small table would be nice out there to put drinks on. The room was faultless with a huge bed about 7ft across not the usual 2 pushed together. There was also a sofa, large table and a small fridge but very little draw space in such a big room. The bathroom was brilliant with the toilet in a separate room, large walk in shower with a massage shower. Cleaning was of a high standard we thought.
5 Euros a day to rent a safe is a rip off. There is no other way to describe it. This must be the 1st hotel we've stayed in that has no proper bar. Ok there are several around but if you want a drink in the hotel, buy it over the road in the supermarket and drink it on the balcony because you won't get one in the hotel. Take your own kettle as well.
Food. Ah the food. Breakfast was OK mostly buffet but you could order fried eggs, omelettes, bacon etc. Dinner is the problem I think. You help yourself to the 1st and 3rd course from a buffet and order your main course from the menu. Now the menu has quite a few choices on it but it is the same menu every night. Now everyone has certain things they're not keen on so if you ignore those, you soon find yourself having not a lot of choice. My wife had Beefburger 4 times and trust me she ain't a burger sort of person. One of the items on the menu every night is Lamb but never was mint sauce offered as opposed to our last trip to Benidorm where there was mint sauce but never any lamb and Yorkshire pudding but never any beef.!! One more thing about the restaurant. A 4* plus hotel and people are allowed to go for dinner in shorts, T shirts and flip flops. There is no Maitre D to enforce standards, usually just I girl waiter who does everything. It really lets the place down. It reminded me of the NAAFI.
The area is very nice, the staff are very nice and helpful. Special mention To Naomi who works in the restaurant. She is very sweet and helpful with a great sense of humour. (She still charged me for my glass of wine on our 52nd Wedding Anniversary though). Would we go back ? Probably not with the charge for a safe being one of my pet hates but mainly because the restaurant needs sorting out. Ooops forgot to mention the best bit, No Screaming Kids. Bliss.

Dear Jon, It is unexpectedly for us to learn that you have such a bad impression on the quality of service at our hotel. Altough the pool bar is closed form october, we always offer drinks and snak service from the reception desk, and we apologize if you didn't know this question in advance or during your stay. We change the towels daily, but only if you leave them in the bathtub or shower. We apologize if ther was a missundertanding with this. The little fridge in the room is a courtesy equipment. Again, we are sorry that we couldn't achieve your expectations and we will work to improve our services and facilities. Sincerely.

Just spent 9 nights, very disappointing, reception area dark and depressing, not really for holidaymakers, more appropriate for travelling for work. Service extremely poor, a wheelchair guest got very little assistance. Various requests for a variety of issues fell on deaf ears. Not a single umbrella in pool area, food uninspiring. Don’t think hotel has an identity, lacks direction and falls way short of. 4 star rating, certainly won’t be back! Poor wi fi in room, good location, always finish on a positive!😀
