Do not come here unless you are a school trip, I won’t write too much as I intend on writing a complaint to tui. The school children and teachers do not care about you they think they own the place. I hate to ruin tui but they need to get themselves out of here i do not recommend this place to anyone , they want school kids no one else should be her. Not a 1 star zero at best.
Hotel is beautiful but all exclusive is a rip off Food is terrible, (really, really terrible) same things night after night There is no lunch, only breakfast and dinner The all day buffet is the same 4 to 5 things every single day Rooms have no fridge which means there is no way to keep water cold, this is to make you use the hotel bar (also may cause problems if you have babies who require milk) Should you have young kids with early bed times or be unfortunate enough to have any kind of accident that means you have to stay in the room, there is absolutely no way to get any kind of food or drink, you will have to send someone down to the bar for anything you need The nearest shop is a 15 -20 min walk The "balcony" is the size of a large suitcase which means drying swimming towels is just not possible if you have more than 1 The parks are amazing but unless you pay the extortionate prices for the fast pass then you will have at least an hour wait for each ride (some of the more popular rides had a 2 hour wait time) The food in the parks is much better but again extortionate prices…
Pros: -The staff are welcoming and kind, despite some not being fluent they service with a smile and try their best to communicate and be helpful. -The food was really good, good quality and really fast at refilling empty dishes. Everything is well labelled with different translations. Great for booking dinner or walking in. -The rooms were amazing, cleaner comes around once a day and does a quick and efficient job. Lovely to come back at the end of the day and have a made bed. The beds are large and comfortable, the toilets have both a shower and a bath. Very nice rooms with good balcony. - Amazing air con, personally, I can’t sleep when i’m hot and the air con was great, kept us cool throughout the night and was really comfortable to sleep in. Adjustable for each room which was lovely. -Delicious drinks and cocktails, refillable water and coffee for free which was great and efficient rather then waiting in the lines. The alcoholic drinks were delicious and easy to drink. All bars are within walking distance from each hotel section. The pool was beautiful and had a large amount of sun beds. Even when the pool was full there were plenty of free seats both in and out of the shade. Cons: -Lots of groups of Spanish School kids - There isn’t much that they can do about this however do keep in mind that there are plenty of loud kids who tend to be quite rude. (It is nice during the day when they aren’t there though!) -The lifeguards are a bit too strict, no things to play with in the pool as they are banned. Would be more fun with pool floaties. Also bring a whistle to whistle back at them to mess with them please. -Mosquitoes but what can you do? It’s a hot place. Overall: I would definitely come back here again, close to Salou and right next to the theme park. Really accessible and an enjoyable time. Thank you to all the kind staff.…
Where do I even start….. what could be a really good hotel in a good location is completely and utterly ruined by a host of problems. Firstly, the hotel staff, waiters, lifeguards are unbelievable rude and un helpful. The pool it self is a good size and looks great but the lifeguards run it like a prison yard. So many rules and all the fun is sucked out of it. No balls! No jumping in! No sunglasses! No playing! You can literally just swim that’s it. Which isn’t really what your on holiday especially at a family resort! Secondly, the hotel is COMPLETELY OVERUN with Spanish school groups. Hundreds of teenagers in large groups with no manners! Something we should have been made aware of when booking. You have to fight for your food at meal times groups of 30+ all heading to the buffet at one time. Having said that the food is decent when there is any left. They’re also running riot at night….. knocking on doors…. Screaming and shouting till early hours of the morning. Teachers don’t seem to care, neither do hotel staff. Lastly…… shared facilities are dirty and the the hotel has a serious mosquito problem. Bug spray is an absolute must or you will be eaten alive!!! Some positives….. all inclusive bar open till 11 (have to pay after this) and the all inclusive drinks are decent with a good selection. Location is good, right next to PortAventura with free access to that and Ferrari world a massive benefit! Fast pass is a must when visiting these as again….. overrun with school groups and queue times for rides can reach 4 hours. With fast pas you’ll have a good day and get on all the rides. Overall salou is a great place but would 100% avoid this hotel or any connected to the theme park… seem to be more cash cows than hotels trying to offer a good experience.…
On arrival it took 1 hour to check in. Very slow process. Even then you had to book your meal times through an app. Lots of rust around the bath. Brown marks down the toilet. Hallway and stairs were very dirty-dust and dirt. One of the beds had a heavily stained mattress, when we complained, their solution was to cover it with an extra sheet . The only reason we give this hotel 3 stars is for the choice and layout of the breakfast and dinner, and the super politeness of the dining room staff
Echo everyone else statements, this place has went downhill. It’s full off Spanish kids causing mayhem. This is the fourth time we have been here and Thinking it will be the last. Does not feel like a family holiday feel like I’m back at high school. Not the hotel fault but adding to the frustration the park have also changed how the express passes work so you have to buy them for every day you are going to the park rather than one pass lasting the week! Entertainment was never a strong point but was at least decent, now almost non existent All inclusive but no lunch , Spanish kids zero manners Place really need to pull It socks up if we are to be back
Pros : During the day the pool is lovely and quiet and the staff are very polite. Pool is massive and mornings and afternoons are perfect when everyone goes into Portaventura Park. Park entry included is also a bonus, however, to enjoy the park you need fastracks otherwise dont even bother going. Cons : Food is very basic and very bland. Same food every night in the buffet and school trips are a nightmare. Very rude kids, pushing and shoving to get into the restaurant and continues when queueing for food. Every night is the same food no variation and same outcome with the school kids. Rooms are also very basic, but they do what you want them to I guess. Also " all inclusive " isnt really a thing at this hotel, upcharges for pretty much everything and you have to always give over your room key to get anything otherwise they refuse to serve you even with your wristbands. Overall it is definitely not a 4 star hotel , very basic and ruined by rude Spanish schoolkids. Definitely head into Salou or Tarragona in evenings to avoid the choas. From 18:00 to 22:00 hotel is a nightmare. Wouldn't stay here again.…
Currently guest at this hotel here with my family of 8 this hotel is the worst i have ever been to the food is very poor hotdogs burgers pizza every meal tasteless and bland life guards constantly blowing whistles to stop the children having fun rooms very basic cleaning poor at best entertainment for children boring same thing over and over again but by far the worst thing about this place is the hundreds of Spanish teenagers running wild no manners at all rude and no respect for others we will never return to this place thank you for a rotten holiday
Currently a guest at this hotel! Hotel totally overrun with teenagers. They are loud, rowdy, rude and out of control. Teachers are infrequently seen - I’m sure they leave the hotel or something! We have just moved rooms to another block as we were denied a change of hotel. Last night I came to the end of my tether! Our original room was on floor 5 of building 1 (main building which holds reception). The whole floor was taken up with a large student group. They were in and out of rooms, banging doors, playing music, being sick and all sorts into the early hours! I left the room to report to reception and ask for a change of hotel but was assured security would sort things. They didn’t! Anyway about 2am things settled a little so we fell asleep only to be awoken at 7am by a teacher shouting in Spanish and banging on our door! Fuming was an understatement! That brings us to today and our change of room - we are now in building 2 on the second floor of 2. We have been assured no school groups in here - thanks Gabriel on reception for finding us a room! However we discovered quickly you can access at one end of the building and leave the other end so it is being used as a cut through by all the large groups seemingly playing hide and seek. We returned about and hour ago from Salou via reception to find a drunk teenager had thrown up on the floor, a receptionist had fell in it and a male member of reception was having a word with an adult supposedly in charge of the group! I wish I was making this up but unfortunately I’m not! It’s currently 23:55 and we’re back in our room and can hear mi a hee maya ha blasting from the kids disco stage as a group have congregated there with a music player to conga and clap and just be a general nuisance! There’s many recent reviews on trip advisor of this hotel saying similar and they are 100% correct! Don’t look at the old reviews and if you’ve been before forget everything you knew! Avoid!…
Currently staying on this hotel …been good until a group of school children checked in tonight …not enough supervision and typical youths of today still shouting running around talking loudly at 23.55 moving around from room to room causing constant disturbance ….no teachers to control them …disgusting behaviour…..nothing put in place by hotel management to control what was clearly going to happen at this time of the night by such a large amount of teenagers even after several guests complaining at around 2100 to the hotel management….TUI use this hotel as an all inclusive package not the standard you expect for that
