We have just returned from a 2 week stay at HTop Molinos and we couldn’t thank you enough for our wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we have been looked after 100% from Augustin the director, Roverto the hotel entertainment manager and especially Petya one of the bar staff who made our holiday so special I don’t think we have laughed so much, we will miss you all and will see you again next year. Thank you Gary and Chris

I stayed with 2 friends at the beginning of May 2022. We were more than happy with the hotel. If you pay less than £200 for a weeks holiday then don't show up expecting 4-5 star luxury. I think this is where most of the negative reviews come from. The hotel is clean, the pool and jacuzzi areas were really nice, food was as you would expect from a Spanish buffet. We stayed half board and enjoyed the evening meal 5 out of 6 nights, we ate out on the other The hotel is located in cap salou which is 40 mins walk from the main salou resort and 25 from La pineda. However, the bus service was cheap and easy to figure out. We had a 30 trip card between us that got us around for the week. €40 between 3. I can confirm the walls are very thin and if you're unlucky this could be a much bigger issue than it was for us. We had a busy week planned, away from the hotel for the most part so I can't comment on evening entertainment as we were never around to see it. The hotel isn't perfect, some of the extra costs for WiFi or safety deposit box were a bit steep I think but overall we were more than happy and I would happily stay again if I was in the area. Just remember you get what you pay for. If you want 4 star, you're going to have to pay for it!

Room Tip: Our transfer from the airport dropped us off and picked us up from a bus stop, maybe 5 mins walk...

Honestly you couldn't want for anything. Our rooms where cleaned every single day. The hotel in general was clean and there was always someone cleaning. The food was a good 8/10 with SO much choice. If your British going away expecting British food, then this is not the hotel for you. Its very Spanish but VERY good. Entertainment everynight, drinks were standard. Location was excellent for us, was quiet but can walk to salou beach which is about 40 mins, however there is quiet rocky beach's 5 mins down the road. Lots of things to do

Food was horrendous and very repetitive, the walls are paper thin and the hotel is very very noisy especially early in the morning. We had to rent a kettle for the room and it nearly went up in flames, we told a member of staff about it and he just said “okay”. Not much space in the bedrooms and it’s all just very outdated. One thing I will say is the pool area is nice.

Stayed here with my family, food and drink was ok, the downside I would say is there’s not anything to do around this hotel apart from bars etc and is quite a trek from the main Salou Beach which we visited twice but there is another beach a couple of miles away which we used a taxi every time returning to the hotel from Beach, the hotel is very close to airport reus which is good, the bars and restaurants attract a lot of wasps which absolutely done all of our heads in,

I've stayed at this hotel many times now, always in May or September so I can't comment what its like in the summer months, & always all inclusive. I've never had any major problem with the place or the food. The only issue I've ever had here is that the walls are very thin & if you get noisy people next door then its not great, however I've been mostly lucky in this regard.

This hotel was situated in a lovely location, quiet and away from main part of Salou. A walk of about 30 mins along the sea to get into salou was beautiful and we loved walking to the shore at night. The hotel itself... Staff were miserable, except the lively Swedish girl at the bar. The drink situation was ridiculous. As mentioned in either reviews the cars in exchange for a drink, plastic glass was small and u could only get one drink at a time. So annoying, felt like u were 2nd class citizen if u were all inclusive. The lunch and dinner were good but snacks were rubbish and obky served in upstarts restaurant. No snacks by pool. Upstairs hot tubs were nice but children who were non stop swearing spoilt it. Walls between rooms paper thin so kept up all night with noise from other rooms. Have been to salou in summer and was too touristy, October perfect for temperature and relaxation.

It would not be my choice for a personal holiday, but it was fine for a school trip. The hotel is near a bus stop into town (you can buy a card for cheaper multiple trips). There is a supermarket closeby, open til 10pm. The bar area had lots of chairs and tables and was child-friendly until about 10pm. We had all our rooms in one corridor, which is unusual and helpful. They squeezed four students to a room. The other guests were noisier than us!! Paper-thin walls and cold at night. The water poured through the glass bricks in the stairwell on a rainy night. Balcony is a good size, bathroom is fine. The buffet restaurant is ideal for teenagers but i did not like the food and it was cold. You can come down between 7.30-9pm, which is flexible too. Salou has not changed in years and is more for a British tourist who likes British food. I prefer Tarragona.

Walls are paper thin. Had to pay for an iron, a remote control and a kettle. I'm on my 3rd day here and feel like crying. There's nothing around here. It's dated and extremely noisy. I'm giving one star because I have to give something but if I could give it zero I would. If you're looking for something comfortable and want a good holiday, look elsewhere and please please read the bad reviews.
