Before travelling I read awful reviews (1 day before travel). The way people were going on was as if this was a dive of a hotel! It’s not. The hotel staff are nice, the bar staff are a good laugh, the drinks are good and the food selection for me is good; steak, veg, potato’s, desserts. The hotel room was nice, with great views (7th floor). Only downside to the rooms were the beds. These were slightly hard I found but it’s not as though it ruined the holiday. The lifts do take a while (but what do you expect from a hotel with lots of guests)… The hotel itself is on a hill which ain’t great for disabled guests, however you can rent an electronic mobility scooter which one of our party did. There seems to be a lot of negativity around the hotel and I don’t get it. Staff are friendly, food is good and it is central.

Hotel was ok, nothing to write home about. Staff very polite and helpful. Pools are filthy, one even had an orange and bottle floating in it amongst other stuff. Never did get cleaned my whole stay. Rooms are cleaned daily. Meals were ok. Definitely not a 4 star more like 3 at a push. And it’s certainly not as nice as it looks on jet2 website.

Room dated and tired. Pool area in need of a good paint and clean. Only 2 parasols for whole hotel. Did not see hotel towels for hire. Food repetitive and bland. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Good location and handy for buses. Hotel at top of a hill. Cocktails were good. Entertainment began around 9.30pm. Bingo then entertainment. Definitely 3 star and not 4.

Wouldn’t say the hotel is a four star but our stay was comfortable we found reception staff very helpful after upgrading from a view less no balcony room ( our booking our choice cheap deal ) to a beautiful top floor sea view room the rooms were clean beds were comfortable, cleaned daily and towels changed every day. Sun beds were easy to get no struggles there are no parasols though. The pool is freezing and also looks a little grubby maybe scrub the tiles and sides of the pool more often The drinks in the bar were nice and the barman does a Lovley coffee. We stayed bed and breakfast we have no complaints about the breakfast it was always hot and for us plenty of choice. The hotel is easy reach of bars and restaurants, with chaplains ( highly recommended for entertainment and a night out ) being just around the corner it made for an easy night out.

When "All inclusive" has a time limit. This hotel, while being 4 star off er All inclusive it comes with a time limit of 10am to 11pm. So you could be enjoying the show but after 11pm you have to pay for everything. They have a sign on the bar, but it's only brought to your attention after 11pm. I've learnt to set an alarm for 22:45.

I was a bit apprehensive about staying here as seen so many really bad reviews but I thought it was ok you get what you pay for good points and bad rooms are ok but need some updating beds very comfortable had the best nights sleep the maid was in everyday with clean towels and making beds etc we was on the 3rd floor in a corner room our view was of the street and was ok as liked to be nosey small fridge in room no kettle or anything so if you want a brew take your own bathroom nothing like pictures on jet 2 website probably only done a few up anyway that's the room done We was all inclusive they have a restaurant where u can get yr meals or a snack bar at the pool which shuts at 7pm even though it says 10pm on it after that you have to go over to salou park 1 which is next door where u can get drinks from People on other reviews have said the bar people very very rude I didn't find that at all they were all very polite to us bit of mix up sometimes whats included with the all inclusive so should be more detail to avoid confusion The meals were ok nothing spectacular but could always find something to eat breakfast was always hot the usual scranbled eggs beans toast sausage etc very busy when first opens as alot of the kids in there getting there breakfast before school so best going in after 815 when they gone Why they going school was my question well we found out that there were people in there from the Ukraine and that's why they had a few dogs in there too which is not mentioned on the website but anyway that was fine they where lovely people The pool is ok but cold and sun not on it all day but you are allowed to use the pool in salou park 1 which has a sea view and alot nicer also has some umbrellas but not many upu have to be quick to get one salou park 1 is where you go at night as well for the entertainment which was not too bad anyway that's it for a budget hotel it's OK not absolutely awful and we did have a good time

Arrived at the Salou park 2 on Saturday the 10th. Meet by 2 helpful members of staff. We got to our room which was very dated on appearance. Broken tiles to start with. The hotel was full of Ukrainian refugees kids running a mock the parents nowhere to be seen until meal times. You can hear there pet dogs barking all hours of the day . You can smell cigarette smoke walking along the corridors to your room. The food was catered for the refugees and not the paying guests. Jet2 didn’t inform us of what was happening at this hotel. This was not what we expected on our holiday. If we knew the situation before hand we would have maybe chosen to go somewhere else. The hotel is supposed to be a 3⭐️ There’s better hotels in Blackpool for less money

Just returned from a week at this hotel. How people can knock it beggars believe. I strongly think this comes from rival competition. The food was very good. Lots of choice with chefs serving carvery style at most meals. Champagne for breakfast such a nice touch. Desserts were amazing. The display of canapés were so clever and artistic. Our room was large, contemporary and was cleaned every day. I was particularly impressed with the all inclusive bar. Nothing was off limits including copious bottles of water, I have found water to be extra many other places. Any negatives, only youngsters climbing up the fountain and jumping into the pool. Wouldn’t be difficult to fence the bottom off before someone gets injured. Very much recommended hotel, thank you.
