Perfect hotel for me as I am disabled and in a wheelchair. Spotless clean, ideal room with wet room, good food, reasonable prices for drinks and perfect location The only fault I have is the lifts aren’t big enough
Returned today, 3rd September 2022 from a 7 night break in Salou, staying at this wonderful hotel. Every member of staff are a credit to the company, helpful and cheery, being greeted at reception by an extremely helpful Yvonne. The accommodation was excellent, clean and roomy. The pool choice was good, we opted for the rooftop plunge pool. The restaurant, very spacious and clean and the food choice for breakfast, Lunch or dinner was excellent. The staff again being very helpful, clearing tables and attending to any needs, particularly Matilde, always service with a smile. Well done H10, keep up the good work.
After reading some of the reviews about this hotel we were beginning to have some doubts, we shouldn't have done. We arrived to a very friendly welcome by 2 ladies on the reception, they gave us clear information about the hotel, where the restaurant was located and the bar opening hours etc. We got to our room, it was very clean and tidy and modern, it wasn't the biggest rooms we've had but you don't go away to spend time in your room. The food in the restaurant was amazing, always different tastes, as soon as the trays were getting low they refilled them, the food was always piping hot. A very good choice off hot food and cold and the deserts were delicious. The restaurant staff were brilliant, they didn't stop working, Prado worked so hard, she was very prompt to clean away used plates, she was very friendly and always had a smile on her face, she always spoke to us. Aldo must walk miles around the restaurant daily making sure we had our drinks. We spent most of our time on the rooftop plunge pool, the sunbeds were very comfortable, and the scenery was amazing. The hotel is in a brilliant location, close to the beach and main shopping areas. We would have given this hotel 5 stars, unfortunately the reasons I dropped a star are because the lifts are very small, you could get 4 people max in them, there was only 2 lifts in the hotel, sometimes we had to wait 10 minutes to get a lift to my floor. The other reason is the poor evening entertainment, it wasn't the best, 1 night we even had Hawaiian dancers, we was in Spain not Hawaii. …
Just a five minute walk to the promenade and beach and even less to the Centro Commercial this hotel is ideally located. The hotel has good facilities including three pools although to get a sunbed by the large ground floor pool you need to be out the doors at 9.00, towels in hand, and don’t get killed in the rush. The restaurant can get very busy and often there is a shortage of glasses, bowls or plates. Despite this the range of food and quality is very good. The hotel also serves local Catalan wines which are very reasonably priced and excellent. There was entertainment each evening either in the bar or poolside and animation staff during the daytime. The beds were very comfortable, the shower excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. What more could you want.
This is by far the worst four star hotel I have been to for a very long time, the hotel is in urgent need of a makeover and is very dilapidated, the food is just awful poor quality, the rooms are very dated and uncomfortable beds. I am on half board but am choosing to eat out. This is my first stay in an H10 hotel and I am staying in another in Tenerife in a few weeks, hopefully it will be much better
The hotel is spotless with the rooms cleaned well everyday. Breakfast is the usual hotel fayre with 50 or so items to choose from so you won't go hungry but can be a little chaotic. Lunch or dinner was pretty good with 2 or 3 items on show cooking plus numerous other mains such as burgers chicken lamb etc etc. Salad bar very good as well. For the price we paid there can be no complaints . Pools nice and refreshing and the usual hotel type entertainment. Right in the centre of salou with the beach 5 minute walk away. If you look for faults they will be there but all in all a decent hotel.
We were regulars to H10 Delfin prior to lockdown and was a little apprehensive given the latest reviews re food and hotel. Thankfully proved wrong. Food still excellent (in our opinion) and hotel as spotless as ever. Some restaurant/kitchen staff have left/been replaced but still plenty of choice at breakfast and evening meal. Food not bland as mentioned In previous comment. Had lamb and duck tonight. Tender and tasty. Plenty of choice for gluten free like me.
Stayed here from 8th September to 15th and have to say everything was amazing, we got to the hotel and was told our toom wasn't ready which wasn't a problem, left our stuff in luggage room. We told receptionist was our honeymoon we got congratulated and when our room was ready..to our delight we had a lovely card and a bottle of cava on ice was amazing. Rooms were always clean, food was amazing as always and we enjoyed our stay that much we have booked to come back for 2023 snd cannot wait. Don't listen to the negative reviews, some people are never happy unless they are moaning.
Rooms dated, & small. Awful dark wood . Trouble getting a sunbed, as there all reserved at-a daft tome, no way am Doing that Food poor , sausages disgusting, no taste, scrambled egg solid, no bacon ( just something that resembles / but isn’t actual bacon, fried egg thrown in a metal container swimming in grease and bust!.who has mixed veg and chips as a choice for breakfast? Evening meal ( salad bar) just the normal boring salad, with disgusting little jars or mixed veg/ rice/. Limited choice . No prawns, salmon, etc ( not even once week). Surely a 4 star hotel should be producing nice seafoods etc…All bland tasteless food, don’t know what half the stuff is not labelled in English. No fresh veg just that horrible mixed veg that’s out at brekkie, definitely cutting back , poor/ cheap produce The desserts look lovely, but they all taste the same“ Tasteless” Now the worst for us is the Loud music played around the pool!! If you just want a relaxing / peaceful break without the constant “ boom boom pick the Olympic next door lovely and peaceful, we had an early morning flight and didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the.band the hotel had playing around the pool it was deafening!!even with The balcony doors closed…
Lovely hotel stay. Housekeeping are so friendly and pleasant, do a great job in the keeping of a clean hotel. Reception very helpful. Nothing appears to be too much trouble, even with the various languages around us. Restaurant we stayed on Bed & Breakfast rates, therefore only had breakfast, always plenty of food, although occasionally short on cups and plates. Was very obvious restaurant were short on staff as are many places in hospitality at present. But the staff that where working tried their best just couldn't keep up, sad to see, the struggles, but they got by. Our stay was blighted by some selfish, inconsiderate hotel guests hogging sunbeds. Even to the degree of queueing up and running to the rooftop beds, just as the doors are unlocked it reminded us of the January sales in the UK. One man appeared to run up 3 flights of stairs at 8.56am with beach towels in his hand obviously to reserve sunbeds, it's so funny you have to laugh how desperate people can be. Whilst sitting having our breakfast we witnessed so many guests putting towels on the sunbeds, then next thing their in the restaurant having breakfast, do they realise how many people are laughing at them, it's also the sad way some love. The same person's then keep these beds all day, even while they go and have lunch. Why? When their are signs around the hotel, saying no bed reservations. There are so many Sunbeds to go around if hoggers didn't hog, then reviews like this wouldn't happen. Despite this we have already booked to stay in 2023. Yes I know I'm sad to be sat here writing this on a vacant bed with an umbrella 🙈 but it is cloudy with several showers today maybe why I could get a bed, but mustn't grumble I have one on our last day.…
