I have just returned from this hotel I have to admit the hotel itself is very clean and the rooms we had were lovely the staff are very friendly but the reason for a poor score is the food was very poor I understand the choices may be less as the guests were lower this year with covid but what little choice there was wasn't very good food at all with either being overcooked a lot of the evenings in the end we choose to eat out which became costly but at least we could eat somthing decent even the mcdonalds we had 1 night was more tasty than food at hotel now I dont usually do these reviews but I felt this hotel just needs to bring this area of complaint up to a better quality and it could be a perfect faimly holiday location

Dear Galet: We would like to thank you for your stay in our aparthotel and for giving us your opinion, since it is very useful for our continuous improvement. We are glad to see you received a kind treatment from our staff. We would also like to thank you for your possitive feedback towards the cleanliness of our establishment, since this is one of our main strengths. We regret you considered our buffet service wasn't good enough. However, we always offer many different choices during our lunch and dinner services, such as a variety of salads, pasta, fish, meat, fried options, some stewed dishes, soup, a variety of desserts and some fruit. If any of our guests find any kind of issue and communicate them to our restaurant staff, they always do their best to solve it immediately or even offer some alternative options. However, we will take note about your comment and we hope we can see you again on future occasions. Kind regards, The Management.

Thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights in this hotel. It’s clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. The staff all speak excellent English and we’re very obliging in sorting out an issue I had with my kids’ tests to go home. Would definitely stay again. The only issues I had were as follows (hotel should see this as advice rather than criticism.) - Arrived to a pool timetable. Weren’t aware of this at the time of booking and although it didn’t cause too many issues, it was an inconvenience at times to be limited to when we could use the pool. I understand the reasons for the timetable, but it’s very difficult to find any info on the website for it. There’s a line in the Covid policy, but feel it should be mentioned in the booking confirmation email. - Five people in one room need more towels or a daily change. Cleaners in daily but towels left in the shower and only changed once. Cleaners also not great at moving things to clean around - sand left on balcony for 3 days.

Dear CSB1981, We would like to thank you for staying in our aparhotel and for the time you took to give us your opinion, since it is really useful for our continuous improvement. We are glad to see you enjoyed your stay and you received a nice treatment from our staff. We appreciate your possitive feedback towards the rivileged location of our establishment, really close to the beatch, Portaventura, the city centre, bars and reststaurants, since this in one of our main strenghts. We regret we had to take some measures because of Covid-19, which affected the pool schedule. However, we did this because our customers´health and safety is our main concern. We also regret you considered insufficient ourcleaning services. However, we have to say, each apartment is cleaned before our guest arrives and twice a week during the stay (with a change of towels). Whenever there is an issue, if our guests communicate it to our reception, we do our best to solve it as soon as possible. However, we will take note of your pieces of advice and we hope we can see you again on future occasions. Kind regards, The Management.

Stayed here during lock down room on arrival was absolutely gorgeous, clean and spacious. Glad we booked the two bedroom as the one wouldn’t have been big enough. Only gripe was our view and no sun on the balcony as trees blocked the balancing fully. The hotel staff absolutely fantastic and helpful. We did check out early due to us having to quarantine once home and not a lot open around . We was the only English here so felt really strange and no visitors even smiled at us once which I found rude not the hotels fault though. Only went to the entertainment once as kids ain’t fussed about it but did watch the balloon show was really funny. Hand gel all around hotel . Pool time table was a little hard if you are a late getter upper or want to chill in the morning as you get every other day time slot so one day 10-2.30 then the next 3.30-7 I think it was. I don’t think you would get a sun bed if the hotel was fully booked and no restrictions as you only got a bed due to the time slots. We only used the pool twice we stuck to the beach as the days we wanted the pool we missed the slot who wants times ok holidays but not much can be done due to the virus. Wouldn’t stay in August again as too busy (no virus) that is

Dear Jessica, Thank you very much for your excellent comment on our Aparthotel. We are very happy to read all the nice comments about the spacious apartment and the cleanliness. Also you mentioned our staff very positive, just as it is one of our strenghts. We are sorry about the pooltime table due to the Covid. For the next time if you want to have more sun and a nice pool view, it is always possible (if there is availability) to reserve a superior 2 bedroom. We are looking forward to welcoming you back on future ocasions. The management

We stayed at the cye holiday center from 30th august 2020 for a week. On arrival I requested an upgrade to my room seeing the view from the standard room compared to the superior. It cost €70 for the 7 nights and was well worth the money. I also had to pay an €80 deposit on arrival (cash only), but we got that back on checkout. We had a lovely view of the pool on a lovely big spacious balcony. The room was spotless, had 2 single beds together in one room, 2 single sofa beds in the living room and a pull down single bed in the hallway by the door. Bathroom had a walk in shower. The kitchen was well supplied with plates, bowls, mugs, pans, microwave and fridge as well as a toaster and kettle though the kettle was full of limescale so I used my own. The staff were all super polite, welcoming and the entertainment bloke was always game for a giggle. The apartment was very quiet on arrival most likely due to the covid situation and the lack of flights etc but became a little busier towards the end of the week. Ill admit we didn't think much of the entertainment, the kids disco just didn't happen probably due to a lack of people there and the night entertainment wasn't very good. It was only outside once, the rest of the time it was in the main hall, bland lighting, and not very entertaining but it didn't make a difference, it was only half hour anyway. The pool was lovely, we had staggered times due to social distancing but we had access either morning of afternoon everyday and some days could use it all day. Drinks were a little pricey but we only had drinks there a couple of times. The kids did however win free soft drinks and a few cocktails in the daytime games so had a few freebies. One day/night we had issues with a very noisy visitor in a room below us, we spoke to the reception staff and was dealt with immediately. Another day a sheet and pillow wasn't replaced when changed but again was sorted out straight away without issue. If it wasn't for the entertainment I'd give this apartment 5* we were made to feel welcome and safe due to the high standard of hygiene during this time of covid. A week stay here is well worth the 2 weeks quarentine we now have to do and I would recommend it.

Dear Jenn, Thank you so much for writing down your opinion about our Aparthotel. You said many nice words about the cleanliness, the pool, staff and the poolview. We regret that you didn't like very much the entertainment. Normally there is much more going on, kidsclub, activities and a lot more, but due to the Covid , this year it wasn't possible. We also are very sorry to hear that you had to do the quarentine. However we can read that you had a lovely stay with us and we hope to welcome you back in future ocasions. The management

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment, upgraded to pool view on arrival, was nice to be able to look out on the pool but it did mean that the entertainment at night was pretty noisy although did always finish around 11.30. Not sure I would pay for upgrade again. The pool is good, it was very quiet when we visited and so had no problem getting sun beds. Hotel should invest in new sun beds as many were broken and very uncomfortable, also, they do not provide any towels at the pool. Pool bar is good and does a range of cocktails and food. Train lines at the back of the hotel but I gather the trains are no longer running. If you go over the train tracks and walk to next street and turn left there is a lovely bakers - Patisseria Gil-Torrents - great place to get croissants and bread in the morning. Just down the side street from the bakers is also a large supermarket with reasonablly priced food and drink. There are also lot's of wine bars and tapas bars in this area. Recommend Besso which is the first bar you see after crossing the railway tracks. Turn right out of hotel and its a quick walk down to the beach area and along the front, nice for a walk in the morning, we walked along the front to Cabrils which took around an hour and 20 mins in the heat and wearing a mask but was worth it, a really lovely town, you can get the bus back. If we'd been staying longer would have got a bus pass as you could then visit quite a few different locations. Our room was lovely and clean with two good sized bedrooms and a very nice refurbished bathroom, large balcony was also good. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend and return.
