My partner & I visited H10 Med Village last June, we knew this hotel would be more family oriented but we really wanted to try out Salou as a destination. Our room was clean and tidy with all the promised facilities, the cleaners & all other staff were friendly and approachable too. The pool area was a little manic at times with so many children however there are quieter areas to allocate yourselves. For example, the roof top jacuzzis are wonderful for peace and quiet with some lovely views. The food was always great, couldn’t fault the breakfast especially. Pool bar meals were delicious as well! As for the location, we loved it. If you take a stroll around cap salou there are a few brilliant bars/restaurants and gorgeous beach views. We visited Route 66 in cap salou nearly every evening, usually after going into salou and before going back to the hotel. They’re super friendly in there. There are so many trips and excursions to choose from too, we visited Port Aventura with friends we made on the holiday and had the best time. We’d highly recommend this holiday, even though we travelled as a young couple, we loved every minute!!

Booked the H10 for a last minute five day break when having some time off work. Stayed half board and flew from Stansted so the value for money was good. It was the last week of the summer season so the hotel was probably only a quarter full. The food was good, much better standard than some Spanish hotels we have been to in the past. Always hot and a good choice. There are a few bars and restaurants a short walk from the hotel but all they seem to serve is burgers and the like. We did pop to a couple for a drink in the evening. Salou is a short bus ride away and absolutely not worth visiting! Unless you like a typical British seaside resort in the sun. We got off the bus decided it was really us and walked the 4.5 miles along the beach to Cambrils which was lovely. This was also recommended to us by the lovely chap in Cap Salou who looks after people at the bus stops. There is a small beach area in Cap Salou but not really worth visiting. Overall it was a lovely short break and the weather was glorious everyday. The only one downside to our holiday was the hotel (and this seems typical of H10s) put us in a room that had an adjoining room. Ok the door was locked but it didn't stop the child next door trying to get in our room and the noise level was awful, they may as well have been sharing our room with us! Would ensure if booking with H10 again that the room is not an adjoining one. We did ask to move but were told the hotel was full! It clearly wasn't! Would not go back to Cap Salou again but would definitely return to Cambrils.

We stayed with this hotel in September, 2019 for two weeks. Overall, it was a good and not irritating experience - it's located outside noisy central Salou but at the same time within half an hour of patient walking if you wish to visit it. They have enough space you'll be able to find your parking slot within the territory :). The very territory is green and well organized; except swimming pools that are on a very strange schedule of functioning (in the very morning you'll be not able to swim as you wish before your breakfast since it's open just apart 10 a.m.) and with too strong odour of chlorine :(. The reception staff works quickly and tries to settle all your requests. Despite the fact the hotel was overcrowded those days none factually obstacles other persons; and two elevators for a living block are enough to manage currents of guests. The gym exists but this could be considered as the weakest point of this hotel - it's very small and the equipment available is too limited :(. Wi-Fi functions well even connections were at low speeds. The room service is factually average (do not look behind and under your beds to diminish your moods :)) but towels and bedclothes were changed regularly and accordingly. Its strongest position among all other hotels within this district is their eating area, indeed: it's large and able to contain a lot of people at the same time; the quality of food is very-very good and variable - a lot of cheese, various kinds of meat, deserts, ice-cream etc. :). Yes, prices for beverages at the hotel are stupid enough :) but simply buy wines and beers you wish after your eating at the nearest Michelangelo (just 300 meters away). Close to the hotel there are three bays where you could sea-bath; but the furthest one (some 900 meters to the left hand) is the biggest and most attractive. Without problems in some nearest small shops you could buy the newspapers you wish, some not bad souvenirs and tickets to, for example, PortAventura, karting or regional buses. To sum up - a good place for non-nervous vacations :).
