Booked through Booking.com a 5 night stay and paid extra for a Deluxe apartment rather than standard as a great price of €185 for our family of 3 was offered. Heavens above, if what we found was Deluxe the Standard must have been the pits. Firstly we cleaned the apartment from top to bottom although we were only able to get the toilet to a basic standard (toilet paper is included in the price - fine if you can manage with 3 or 4 bits on a roll, in other words bring your own for your needs) and left the 3 cans of Red Bull residing for goodness knows how long in the fridge. We were worried about our safety when discovering the front door had previously been broken open as had the balcony door and made sure that only clothes and food were left when we were not inside, a wise move as we had visitors unknown on the third day of our stay. COVID precautions were minimal and as the reception was closed there was nobody to ensure compliance with legally required measures were observed. In the office where keys were to be collected there were stringent COVID measures in place, only one person at a time to enter their reception area. My wife collected our keys and was very upset at the rude 'reception' she was given by the Rentalmar male staff member, so much so that she refused to deal with him further and changed to the other staff member on duty. The negative attitude of Rentalmar towards us was bizarre given that Salou, as with other areas of Spain, has suffered greatly with the COVID travel restrictions, one would have thought they'd be offering the highest level of customer service possible, the reality was far from this, pretty sad really.

Firstly we were told the reception was 24 hours but upon arriving we was then told we’d have to go to another hotel to get the keys. Secondly, the noise through out the night was ridiculously loud. I was then told we would have to pay €100 deposit for the room which I completely understand but then on checkout I was told the room had been checked and they was happy with it. They told me my deposit would be back in my bank the same day. It’s now over two months later and no money refunded and ignoring my emails. Would 100% not recommend this to anyone

We booked an apartment here as our hotel had closed and we were desperate to get away for a week. A little bit further out than we prefer though was only 5 mins in a taxi. Very awkward if you are arriving in Salou late at night. Due to nothing being open at the apartments (reception, bar, restaurant, etc) you have to collect your key at reception from one of their other apartment blocks in the centre of Salou. Got dropped of to collect it and it was closed. Finally noticed a phone number we had to call, then after another 30 mins a gentleman arrived and got the key from a little safe box. If they had only given us the code we could have done that ourselves. Taxi to Salou Pacific and we got safely into our room. Very basic but clean. Oven hob didn’t work, questioned it the next day and were told none of them worked! Beds were comfy, shower wasn’t great. No sunbeds by the pool, wasn’t the best stay we had in Salou but for the price we were happy enough with it. Wouldn’t rush to stay there again, was also a bit of a delay in the deposit being refunded. We weren’t given much information from Rentalmar, a bit disappointing in that respect. Would have liked to have seen some staff during our stay but shutters were down the whole time and main door locked. We had a code to let ourselves in throughout the day.

I booked a holiday through a cowboy outfit called Love Holidays. Arrived at the apartments, which advertised 24 hour reception to find no reception staff, just a number to call. Called the number. Had to walk over a mile, carrying luggage, to collect key and pay €50 deposit. I had to repeat the process at the end of the holiday, but they refused to give me back the deposit until they had sent someone to check the room. As I was leaving, they said they would pay it back to the debit card which I had used to pay. I wait to see if that will happen. The first night I heard dripping. I looked to find water coming through the ceiling by the aircon unit. I called them the next day and they said they would send someone round. I returned later to find that they had just disabled the aircon unit, so I spent a fortnight with no aircon. It was a self catering apartment but there was no kettle. Other people I spoke to complained of microwave and hob not working and dirty. I didn't try to use mine so I don't know. The room was basic. It was not serviced during the fortnight that I was there to the extent that I had to go out and buy replacement toilet paper. The advertised bar and restaurant were shut. The company running the place is called Rentalmar. They were less than helpful. I shall never use them again

We arrived early and were greeted with a smile Lovely lady on Reception wasso welcoming and helpful. The apartment was basic but what we expected. Nice and clean with plenty of linen and towels. Snack and bar area closed and no sun beds by the pool but I think this was more to do with the lock down restrictions. Good area for bars but you are up a bit of a hill so of you struggle with mobility it may not be for you. All in all a great stay and we would book again
