Just returned from a weeks half board stay. Stayed in the area many times, but 1st time at this hotel as usual hotels closed due to COVID. Impressed at hygiene protocols immediately on arrival and everywhere was spotless. Sanitiser everywhere. Bright modern looking hotel with large rooms. Very nice breakfast and dinner. Unable to self serve due to restrictions but this was understandable and the staff were amazing. Anything to accommodate and only happy to help, even in strange times. Yes the hotel was quiet but we still used all facilities including the pool which was lovely. The roof top bar is also outstanding with amazing views and decor. The team are a credit to the hotel particularly cleaning and waiting staff. The resort itself was again quieter but plenty of bars and restaurants open. This was a lovely chilled much needed holiday and the hotel played a great part. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

Great drinks; cocktails were lovely and the spirits came in good measures. The great view of the coast in the sky bar was a real treat. Shame about the two waitresses who tried to steal our money after we gave them the bill back

After an extremely stressful day, arriving at the airport a day early and unable to get an extra night in our original hotel we resorted to las arenas. A little pricey however you get what you pay for, so we thought. The hotel was picturesque. We paid €118 for the night, just one room. We were just grateful to have a room for the night. We got into the room to be greeted by a dirty, stained toilet and somebody else’s dirty socks pushed under the bedside table. We were tired and decided to ignore it and get some rest. My mum was then woke early in the morning by ants crawling over her. We turned the lights on to discover ants crawling all over the bedside table and wall, going behind the headboard. Between the 2 of us we decided to head to reception and get the problem sorted. We were offered a new room however did not accept due to it being our last night. We requested a refund and got one after a slight disagreement with the lady at reception (overall she was helpful). All in all our one night stay at Las Arenas hotel was unforgettable, for all the wrong reasons. Never again.

Stayed here for a week in july arrived the day the spanish authorities made it compulsory to wear face masks while walking around the resort, found the hotel spotless, staff welcoming especially the restaurant staff waiters and table cleaners. The food was nice if just always luke warm even at beginning of service and I think it's time the Spanish realised that the British dont have chips at every meal was disappointed to see chips out at breakfast. Pool area lovely we had it to ourselves first few days but as more arrived the pool bar opened, lovely roof top terrace and bar, overall definitely worthy of 4 stars and would stay here again again

I previously had a lovely week at Las Arenas in February. Was due to come back in May - but I believe all Spanish hotels had to close. So I booked again 8-14 August. The cleanliness of this hotel has always been a strong point - but with Covid19 they have excelled the care given to their guests. All the long serving staff make me feel welcome when I arrive but this time it was noticeable there were fewer guests. My stay here was as usual very enjoyable, despite the lack of the normal quality entertainment - but I was just pleased the hotel was operating. The loungers in the pool area were arranged to comply with social distancing - there were hand sanitizers throughout the hotel and all the guests complied with the requirements to keep us virus free. I felt safer here than at home! I enjoyed yet another stay at Las Arenas and due to previous cancellations I have another week booked mid September. The food, the sky bar, and the main bar cannot be faulted - I just hope that he likes of Ricky Lavazza and Gordon Williams will be entertaining in September!
