Last minute booking for a quick break in Feb 2017, was looking at Canary Islands to get some winter sun but opted for better value of costa del sol. It was as we expected a good apartment but the toaster set off the smoke alarm in our room off would definitely return here but for a longer duration the room was clean very cheap as we paid £60 for 2 nights

I was not expecting the place to be rocking as it was February but the complex was like a ghost town! No restaurant on site and a bar which only opened at 7 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays the bar is rammed with local Spanish couples due to live music from an elderly man with a guitar and a backing...

We stayed at the benal beach, the studio room was only slightly bigger than a cupboard,so we upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. That was nice. Basic but comfortable. Arrived here around 8pm during a storm, so we were cold and very wet as the hotel entrance is a few hundred yards up from the road. The guy behind reception handed us our key and pointed down the corridor. The corridors are long and very cold which created an awful atmosphere. Room was small and had everything we needed....

Apartment spacious and clean, had everything in it that we needed for our stay. Bed was one of the best we have slept in. Can'the really comment on the staff as we didn'the require their assistance for anything. Outside grounds were lovely, pool looked ace was nice and big with shallow areas for kids ( we did not try it...

Communication: It is well connected by National Highways, Roads, Port and Airport, this city has commuter train station located 500 m. Benal Beach complex, this train runs daily coastline of the Costa del Sol from the railway station of the city of Malaga to Fuengirola stopping at all intermediate cities included its airport, the grand Plaza Mayor Shopping Park and back to Malaga 7.00 hours to 23.00 hours with a frequency of about 30 minutes in both directions, there are bus stops within 50 m of Benal Beach with free anywhere you want to move and there is also a taxi stand right next to the door entrance to Benal Beach Complex.
